| CVE-2025-68613KEVexploit ×38 | 8.8 high | 99.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Versions starting with 0.211.0 and prior to 1.120.4, 1.121.1, and 1.122.0 contain a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in their workflow expression evaluation system. Under certain conditions, expressions supplied by authenticated users during workflow configuration may be evaluated in an execution context that is not sufficiently isolated from the underlying runtime. An authenticated attacker could abuse this behavior to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the n8n process. Successful exploitation may lead to full compromise of the affected instance, including unauthorized access to sensitive data, modification of workflows, and execution of system-level operations. This issue has been fixed in versions 1.120.4, 1.121.1, and 1.122.0. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to a patched version, which introduces additional safeguards to restrict expression evaluation. If upgrading is not immediately possible, administrators should consider the following temporary mitigations: Limit workflow creation and editing permissions to fully trusted users only; and/or deploy n8n in a hardened environment with restricted operating system privileges and network access to reduce the impact of potential exploitation. These workarounds do not fully eliminate the risk and should only be used as short-term measures. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44789exploit | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could achieve global prototype pollution via an unvalidated pagination parameter in the HTTP Request node. Combined with other techniques this could lead to RCE on the instance. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65964exploit ×6 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Versions 0.123.1 through 1.119.1 do not have adequate protections to prevent RCE through the project's pre-commit hooks. The Add Config operation allows workflows to set arbitrary Git configuration values, including core.hooksPath, which can point to a malicious Git hook that executes arbitrary commands on the n8n host during subsequent Git operations. Exploitation requires the ability to create or modify an n8n workflow using the Git node. This issue is fixed in version 1.119.2. Workarounds include excluding the Git Node (Docs) and avoiding cloning or interacting with untrusted repositories using the Git Node. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65591exploit | 8.9 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n contains a sanitizer bypass vulnerability in the legacy expression evaluator's computed-member handler. An authenticated user with workflow create or modify permissions can craft a malicious expression to bypass the sanitizer and achieve host-level code execution as the n8n process. The legacy expression engine is the default in affected versions. Fixed in n8n 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-62726exploit ×2 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.113.0, a remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Git Node component available in both Cloud and Self-Hosted versions of n8n. When a malicious actor clones a remote repository containing a pre-commit hook, the subsequent use of the Commit operation in the Git Node can inadvertently trigger the hook’s execution. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary code within the n8n environment, potentially compromising the system and any connected credentials or workflows. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.113.0. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2025-68668 | 9.9 critical | 13.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. From version 1.0.0 to before 2.0.0, a sandbox bypass vulnerability exists in the Python Code Node that uses Pyodide. An authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the host system running n8n, using the same privileges as the n8n process. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.0. Workarounds for this issue involve disabling the Code Node by setting the environment variable NODES_EXCLUDE: "[\"n8n-nodes-base.code\"]", disabling Python support in the Code node by setting the environment variable N8N_PYTHON_ENABLED=false, which was introduced in n8n version 1.104.0, and configuring n8n to use the task runner based Python sandbox via the N8N_RUNNERS_ENABLED and N8N_NATIVE_PYTHON_RUNNER environment variables. | 13 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44790 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could inject CLI flags on the Git node's Push operation allowing an attacker to read arbitrary files from the n8n server potentially leading to full compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44791 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could bypass the patch for CVE-2026-42232 in the XML node. When combined with other nodes, this could lead to RCE on the n8n host. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65595 | 8.9 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 2.30.1 and 2.29.8 assigns all Public API key scopes to JWTs issued through the Token Exchange module regardless of the acting user's role. On instances where the Token Exchange feature and Public API are enabled, a low-privileged user who can obtain a valid external JWT trusted by a configured issuer can use the resulting access token to invoke administrator-only Public API operations such as role escalation, user creation, and user deletion (role escalation requires an Advanced Permissions license), and, when unverified Community Package installation is enabled, achieve remote code execution. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49357 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Line Desktop MCP is a project that, while unaffiliated with the official line-bot-mcp-server, allows users to directly operate the LINE Desktop application on Windows or Mac via MCP. `line-desktop-mcp` supports a `--http-mode` Streamable HTTP transport for use with clients such as n8n. In this mode the server binds to `0.0.0.0` and exposes the MCP `/mcp` endpoint without an MCP-layer authentication check. Prior to version 1.1.2, any network client that can reach the port can initialize a session, list tools, and call tools that read LINE Desktop chat history or send LINE messages through the already logged-in desktop application. Version 1.1.2 fixes the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54309 | 8.8 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.25.7 and 2.26.2, when @n8n/mcp-browser is run in HTTP transport mode, the MCP endpoint accepts session initialization and tool invocation requests without any authentication. Any network-reachable client, or any website visited by the user, can establish an MCP session and invoke browser-control tools. Where the n8n AI Browser Bridge extension is installed and a browser connection is active, an unauthenticated caller can access browser-control capabilities including navigation, JavaScript evaluation, and cookie and storage access against the user's real browser profile. This issue only affects instances where @n8n/mcp-browser is run with the HTTP transport (--transport http). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.25.7 and 2.26.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72765 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 2.31.5 and before 2.32.1 contain a sandbox escape vulnerability in expression evaluation. An authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows can craft expressions using arrow-function bodies to bypass the expression sandbox, triggering system command execution on the host running n8n. The issue is fixed in versions 2.31.5 and 2.32.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72767 | 8.7 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.67, 2.x before 2.31.5, and 2.32.x before 2.32.1 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Git node. Authenticated users with rights to create and execute workflows can stage a crafted local repository that causes git to run hooks under default git security settings, executing arbitrary commands as the n8n process user. Both self-hosted and cloud instances are affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65015 | 7.2 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n versions before 2.30.1 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in the AI Agents feature where the node-execution tool lacks proper authorization checks. A Project Viewer user can escalate privileges by chatting with an agent that has node tools enabled, executing arbitrary nodes and accessing credential secrets without proper authorization verification. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59206 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.61, 2.27.4, and, 2.28.1, an authenticated user with the default workflow:create permission could pollute Object.prototype through a crafted workflow saved, updated, or imported via the workflow API, allowing unauthenticated requests to be treated as a privileged user and exposing user and project listing endpoints. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.61, 2.27.4, and 2.28.1. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72749 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the Edit Fields (Set) node. The node assigns output fields via a dot-notation path setter without restricting the field name, allowing an authenticated user to name a field after an inherited built-in method path and corrupt a shared global in the main Node.js process. Because that global is used on the request-authentication path, the instance then fails every authenticated request, causing an instance-wide denial of service for all users until the process is restarted. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72770 | 7.1 high | 1.0% | n8n | n8n versions before 1.123.67 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Git node's fetch, pull, and push-tags operations that allows authenticated users to bypass repository-path containment checks. Attackers with workflow create/execute rights can point allowlisted remote configurations at local paths outside the sandbox to pull arbitrary git repositories and read their files and history. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110846 | 7.0 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a signature bypass in the waiting-webhook endpoint, which selects Send-and-Wait validation before normalising an alternate node reference form. Attackers holding an execution's resume token can approve waiting executions meant for others, running downstream actions under the workflow owner's credentials, potentially including command execution. | 20 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54310 | 6.5 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.25.7 and 2.26.2, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could supply a crafted parameters to the TimescaleDB and/or legacy Postgres v1 node's allowing arbitrary SQL to be injected and executed against the connected database within the privileges of the configured database account. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.25.7 and 2.26.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54314 | 6.3 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.24.0, the Compression node's Decompress operation expanded attacker-controlled archives into memory without enforcing limits on decompressed output size. An unauthenticated attacker could send a small compressed archive to a public webhook workflow using this node, causing the n8n process to terminate due to memory exhaustion and disrupting all workflows in the same instance. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.24.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65014 | 6.3 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 2.28.0 (and before 2.27.4 on the 2.27.x branch) registers the DELETE /${restEndpoint}/test-webhook/:id endpoint before authentication middleware is applied, allowing any unauthenticated network caller who knows a workflow ID to cancel that workflow's active test webhook registration. The impact is limited to disrupting in-progress test sessions; production webhooks, persistent workflow state, and stored data are not affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72769 | 6.1 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the VM expression engine. An authenticated user able to create or edit a workflow expression can abuse the engine's array-element access to obtain a reference to a host built-in and pollute its prototype in the main n8n process (a sandbox escape), leading to a denial of service. Both self-hosted and cloud instances running the VM expression engine are affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-49465 | 6.0 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.48, 2.21.8, and 2.22.4, an authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could supply a local filesystem path as the source repository in the Git node's Clone operation, or as the target repository in the Push operation, bypassing the N8N_RESTRICT_FILE_ACCESS_TO file sandbox. This allowed the contents of any local git repository accessible to the n8n process to be cloned into an allowed path and read, circumventing the access restrictions that correctly blocked direct file reads to the same paths. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.48, 2.21.8, and 2.22.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72764 | 5.8 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n's JavaScript task runner shared a single module cache across all users' Code-node executions. In affected versions (before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1), a user able to run a Code node could poison a cached module and thereby alter other users' Code-node executions on the same runner, affecting their confidentiality, integrity, or availability. This is a cross-user isolation break within a single n8n instance and does not constitute a sandbox escape or remote code execution. Only multi-user instances running the JS task runner with built-in or external modules enabled are affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65590 | 5.5 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 2.29.8 and 2.30.x before 2.30.1 does not enforce shell sandbox restrictions on Linux and Windows in the @n8n/computer-use package (sandboxing was applied only on macOS). Shell commands executed by the tool run without any filesystem or network restrictions, allowing unrestricted access to the host filesystem and network from within the computer-use agent process. This issue only affects deployments where the @n8n/computer-use package is explicitly installed and running; standard n8n installations are not affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59257 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.61, 2.x before 2.27.4, and 2.28.x before 2.28.1 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the legacy MySQL v1 node's executeQuery operation. The operation substitutes evaluated {{ ... }} expression values directly into the raw SQL string without parameterization. When a workflow uses this operation with expression-sourced values and is connected to an externally-reachable trigger (such as a Webhook node), attacker-controlled input reaching those expressions results in SQL injection, allowing execution of arbitrary SQL with the configured MySQL credentials' privileges. The MySQL v2 node, which uses parameterized queries, is not affected. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72773 | 4.9 medium | 1.0% | n8n | n8n before 2.31.5 and 2.32.x before 2.32.1 contain a path-confinement bypass in the @n8n/computer-use file-search (search_files) tool. A crafted search pattern can bypass the base-directory confinement check and expand to locations outside the configured directory, causing the tool to return the names and contents of arbitrary local files readable by the daemon's OS user. Any deployment where an actor can influence the tool's search input is affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54052 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | n8n-mcp | n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.56.1, in HTTP mode with multi-tenancy enabled through ENABLE_MULTI_TENANT=true, n8n-mcp's local workflow version history backups were not isolated per tenant, allowing an authenticated tenant to read workflow version snapshots belonging to other tenants and delete or destroy other tenants' stored backups, including full node definitions, credential references, and authorization headers. This issue is fixed in version 2.56.1. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44792 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, an attacker with write access to the git repository connected to an n8n Source Control configuration could commit a malicious Data Table JSON file containing a crafted column name. When an administrator performed a Source Control Pull, n8n imported the file and could lead to SQL injection on the internal PostgreSQL instance. Exploitation requires the n8n instance uses PostgreSQL as its database backend, the Source Control feature is enabled and connected to a repository the attacker can write to, and an administrator triggers a Source Control Pull. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54305 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2, three EE endpoints used by the Dynamic Credentials feature accepted any authenticated n8n session without performing per-resource ownership or scope checks on the target workflow or credential. An authenticated user with no project membership or credential sharing relationship could enumerate credential identifiers, names, and types referenced by any private workflow in the instance, initiate an OAuth authorization flow against another user's credential to overwrite its stored tokens with tokens bound to an account they control, or revoke another user's stored credential tokens entirely. Workflows relying on a hijacked credential would subsequently execute under the attacker's OAuth identity, enabling data exfiltration to attacker-controlled external services and persistent takeover of integrations. Token revocation would break affected workflows. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65598 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contains a TOCTOU race condition in the Git node's clone operation that allows authenticated users to bypass path restrictions by swapping a directory for a symlink after the path is validated but before the clone runs. This lets an attacker plant a crafted repository in the community node directory, which n8n loads as a custom node on the next restart, executing arbitrary JavaScript on the server. Both self-hosted and cloud instances are affected. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72772 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 2.32.1 (and before 2.31.5) is vulnerable to account takeover via the Token Exchange Embed Login feature. When a validly-signed incoming token was matched to a local account by its email claim, the service did not verify that the email claim was verified, nor that the trusted key's permitted role ceiling covered that account. As a result, anyone able to obtain a token accepted by a configured trusted key (for example, a trusted issuer emitting unverified email addresses) could authenticate as any existing user and gain full account control. This issue only affects instances where the embed login feature is enabled and at least one trusted key source is configured. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-71539 | 8.9 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1, the Git node clone operation allows an authenticated workflow user to swap a validated directory for a symlink before cloning, planting a crafted repository in the community node directory that loads as a custom JavaScript node after restart and executes arbitrary code on the server. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118649 | 8.7 high | — | no CPE yet | n8n before 2.43.5 and 2.44.x before 2.44.1 accepts a client-supplied workflow ID and caches each workflow's owner project in memory by that ID, so a crafted ID such as __proto__ makes the Data Table project check match every project. An authenticated member who can create and run workflows can list, read, modify, and delete Data Table rows in all projects of the instance. | 2 h ago |
| CVE-2026-39974 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | n8n-mcp | n8n-MCP is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides AI assistants with comprehensive access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. Prior to 2.47.4, an authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery in n8n-mcp allows a caller holding a valid AUTH_TOKEN to cause the server to issue HTTP requests to arbitrary URLs supplied through multi-tenant HTTP headers. Response bodies are reflected back through JSON-RPC, so an attacker can read the contents of any URL the server can reach — including cloud instance metadata endpoints (AWS IMDS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba, Oracle), internal network services, and any other host the server process has network access to. The primary at-risk deployments are multi-tenant HTTP installations where more than one operator can present a valid AUTH_TOKEN, or where a token is shared with less-trusted clients. Single-tenant stdio deployments and HTTP deployments without multi-tenant headers are not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.47.4. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42449 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | n8n-mcp | n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. In versions 2.47.4 through 2.47.13, the SDK embedder path (N8NDocumentationMCPServer constructor, getN8nApiClient(), and validateInstanceContext()), the synchronous URL validator in SSRFProtection.validateUrlSync() had no IPv6 checks. IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses such as http://[::ffff:169.254.169.254] bypassed the cloud-metadata, localhost, and private-IP range checks. An attacker able to supply an n8nApiUrl value could cause the server to issue HTTP requests to cloud metadata endpoints, RFC1918 private networks, or localhost services. Response bodies are returned to the caller (non-blind SSRF), and the n8nApiKey is forwarded in the x-n8n-api-key header to the attacker-controlled target. Projects with deployments embedding n8n-mcp as an SDK using N8NDocumentationMCPServer or N8NMCPEngine with user-supplied InstanceContext are affected. The first-party HTTP server deployment was not primarily affected — it has a second async validator (validateWebhookUrl) that catches IPv6 addresses. This issue has been fixed in version 2.47.14. If users are unable to upgrade immediately as a workaround they can validate URLs before passing to the SDK, restrict egress at the network layer, and reject user-controlled n8nApiUrl values. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54307 | 8.5 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2, a member-level user with editor access to a shared workflow could reference credentials they do not own via specific public API endpoints. Credential ownership checks were only enforced partially leading to cross-user credential access. This issue affects instances where workflow sharing is enabled and at least one workflow has been shared with a member-level user as an Editor. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.55, 2.25.7, and 2.26.2. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-118648 | 8.4 high | — | no CPE yet | n8n before 1.123.85, 2.x before 2.43.5, and 2.44.x before 2.44.1 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability because some webhook response paths, such as error responses and responses without headers, omit the sandbox Content-Security-Policy. Authenticated members who can create and activate workflows can serve HTML that runs on the n8n origin, letting scripts act with the session of users who open the webhook URL. | 2 h ago |
| CVE-2026-65592 | 8.4 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contains a stored DOM cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Resource Locator component, which passes the workflow-persisted cachedResultUrl parameter to window.open() without scheme validation. An attacker with workflow creation/editing privileges can craft a workflow with a malicious (e.g., javascript:) scheme in cachedResultUrl; when a victim opens the crafted workflow and interacts with external links, the payload executes in the victim's browser. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45732 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7, the OAuth1 and OAuth2 credential reconnect endpoints authorized access using credential:read rather than credential:update. An authenticated user with read-only access to a shared credential could initiate an OAuth reconnect flow and overwrite the stored token material for that credential with tokens bound to an external account they control. Workflows relying on the affected credential would subsequently execute under the attacker's OAuth identity, enabling data exfiltration to attacker-controlled external services and persistent takeover of shared integrations. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.123.43, 2.22.1, and 2.20.7. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65597 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.64, 2.x before 2.29.8, and before 2.30.1 contains a DOM-based cross-site scripting vulnerability in the HTML preview, which renders execution output into an iframe srcdoc without the sandbox attribute. A sanitizer bypass allows injected script to execute same-origin as the editor. When a victim opens the preview, the script can call authenticated APIs using the victim's session. An account with global:member privileges can exploit the issue. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72766 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 1.123.67, 2.x before 2.31.5, and 2.32.x before 2.32.1 contain a type confusion vulnerability in the Send Email node, which does not enforce that its message fields are strings. A crafted non-string value supplied from a workflow expression into the text or HTML body field can be interpreted by the underlying mail library (Nodemailer) as a file path or URL, allowing arbitrary local file disclosure and server-side request forgery (SSRF). Exploitation requires a pre-existing active workflow with an unauthenticated webhook, valid SMTP credentials configured on the node, and untrusted input mapped directly into the body field; this is not a default configuration. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110843 | 8.2 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the unauthenticated OAuth authorize endpoint, which resolves clients by URL path but stores the caller's raw identifier as the record key. Unauthenticated attackers can send identifiers differing only in their query string to create unlimited first-party client records that bypass the registration cap, growing the database until the disk fills. | 16 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110845 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | n8n before 1.123.83, 2.x before 2.41.4, and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a code execution vulnerability in the Git node Log operation, which fails to strip a repository's local git configuration before invoking an external program. Authenticated members who can point the node, including as an agent tool, at a repository whose local configuration they control can execute programs as the n8n process user. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-65016 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n versions before 1.123.64, 2.29.8, and 2.30.1 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in Enterprise SSO instance-role provisioning. The provisioning path maps an IdP-asserted role claim to an n8n global role but does not prevent assignment of the global:owner role (unlike the token-exchange identity path, which rejects it). An SSO-authenticated user whose instance-role claim resolves to global:owner is provisioned as instance owner, gaining full administrative control over workflows, credentials, users, and instance configuration. Exploitation requires that Enterprise SSO is configured, instance-role provisioning is enabled via N8N_SSO_SCOPES_PROVISION_INSTANCE_ROLE (disabled by default), and the attacker controls the instance-role claim value issued by the IdP. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72762 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n versions before 1.123.67, 2.31.5, and 2.32.1 contain an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the Edit Image node, which passes its output format parameter to the underlying image library without validation. An authenticated user able to run workflows can supply a crafted format value to write arbitrary files outside the node's working directory on the n8n instance. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-110842 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | n8n before 2.41.4 and 2.42.x before 2.42.1 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the MCP workflow-validation tool, whose interpreter evaluates caller-supplied code in the main process, reads inherited properties, and permits assignment onto shared prototypes. An authenticated member holding only a workflow:read grant can replace a built-in method with one returning a truthy value so server-side permission checks accept unheld scopes, enabling takeover of owner accounts not protected by MFA. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59208 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.27.4 and from 2.28.0 prior to 2.28.1, n8n instances configured with more than one trusted token-exchange issuer resolved external identities to local accounts using only the JWT sub claim and ignored the iss claim, allowing an attacker with a valid token from one trusted issuer and a sub matching a victim under another issuer to authenticate as that victim. This issue is fixed in versions 2.27.4 and 2.28.1. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-77079 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | n8n | n8n before 2.34.1 and 2.33.4 contains an authorization bypass in the custom project role deletion (reassignment) path. When deleting a custom project role with a reassignment target, the code validated only that the target role existed and was project-scoped, performing no project-level authorization check. A user holding only the narrow role:manageProject global scope could delete any custom project role in use on the instance and reassign its holders (including themselves) to the built-in project:admin role, gaining full administrative control of projects they had no legitimate access to. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44694 | 7.2 high | 0.00% | n8n-mcp | n8n-MCP is an MCP server that provides AI assistants access to n8n node documentation, properties, and operations. From version 2.18.7 to before version 2.50.2, there is an authenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability affecting the webhook trigger tools, the n8n API client (N8N_API_URL), and per-request URLs supplied via the x-n8n-url header in multi-tenant HTTP mode. This issue has been patched in version 2.50.2. | Mon 26 Oct |
