CVE-2026-72781exploit 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Craft CMS versions >= 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.7 and >= 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.3 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Twig sandbox mechanism. Because Craft marks the ElementInterface as safe (via the AllowedInSandbox attribute) and the sandbox allowlisting extends to the entire class hierarchy (craft\base\Component up to yii\base\Component), an authenticated attacker with permission to access the control panel can render a malicious Twig template that abuses the yii\base\Component arbitrary function-call gadget to execute arbitrary code, even when the Twig sandbox is enabled via enableTwigSandbox(). Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2025-62369exploit 7.2 high 1.0% xibosignage, xibo Xibo is an open source digital signage platform with a web content management system (CMS). Versions 4.3.0 and below contain a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in the CMS Developer menu's Module Templating functionality, allowing authenticated users with "System -> Add/Edit custom modules and templates" permissions to manipulate Twig filters and execute arbitrary server-side functions as the web server user. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.1. To workaround this issue, use the 4.1 and 4.2 patch commits. 18 Oct
CVE-2026-55794exploit 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). In versions 5.9.0 and above prior to 5.10.0, control panel users with the ability to edit entries can execute unsandboxed Twig code via the HTTP Referrer header, potentially leading to authenticated RCE. The issue happens when a user is saving entries. Strings for a signed redirect URL are being compiled as a Twig template via renderObjectTemplate(), and while a sandboxed alternative already exists (renderSandboxedObjectTemplate()), it is not used in this case. This signed URL can be specified by users, as it is reflected in the “Referer” HTTP request header, which is under attacker control. This issue has been fixed in version 5.10.0. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-22692exploit 6.8 medium 0.00% octobercms, october October is a Content Management System (CMS) and web platform. Versions prior to 3.7.13 and versions 4.0.0 through 4.1.4 contain a sandbox bypass vulnerability in the optional Twig safe mode feature (CMS_SAFE_MODE). Certain methods on the collect() helper were not properly restricted, allowing authenticated users with template editing permissions to bypass sandbox protections. Exploitation requires authenticated backend access with CMS template editing permissions and only affects installations with CMS_SAFE_MODE enabled (disabled by default). This issue has been fixed in versions 3.7.13 and 4.1.5. To workaround this issue, users can disable CMS_SAFE_MODE if untrusted template editing is not required, and restrict CMS template editing permissions to fully trusted administrators only. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2023-43661 8.8 high 52.0% all-three, cachet Cachet is an open-source status page system. Prior to the 2.4 branch, a template functionality which allows users to create templates allows them to execute any code on the server during the bad filtration and old twig version. Commit 6fb043e109d2a262ce3974e863c54e9e5f5e0587 of the 2.4 branch contains a patch for this issue. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-61450 7.1 high 5.0% no CPE yet Grav before 2.0.2 contains a Twig sandbox bypass that allows a page author (any admin.pages user, or anyone able to write to user/pages) to exfiltrate configuration secrets. Although the sandbox replaces the 'config' variable with a redacted facade and strips Config::get/toArray from the method allowlist, the raw container remains accessible via the allow-listed grav.offsetGet('config'), which returns the real Config object. Allow-listed object-dumping filters (json_encode, print_r, yaml_encode) then serialize that object at the PHP level without invoking the sandbox method gate, exposing the full config tree including plugin secrets such as SMTP credentials, API keys, and plugin DB credentials. This is an incomplete fix for GHSA-j274-39qw-32c9. Sun 25 Oct
CVE-2026-56700 9.3 critical 3.0% no CPE yet Grav CMS before 2.0.0-beta.2 contains multiple code-execution vulnerabilities. Three unsafe unserialize() calls - in Scheduler\JobQueue, Framework\Cache\Adapter\FileCache, and Session - deserialize untrusted data without restricting allowed classes, enabling PHP object injection and, via a gadget chain, arbitrary code execution where an attacker controls the serialized input. Additionally, InstallCommand's git clone operation passes the branch, url, and path parameters into a shell command without escaping, allowing OS command injection via plugin/theme installation (which requires admin access). A Twig security blocklist bypass (server-side template injection) is also present. The issues are fixed in 2.0.0-beta.2. 8 Oct
CVE-2023-2017 8.8 high 2.0% shopware Server-side Template Injection (SSTI) in Shopware 6 (<= v6.4.20.0, v6.5.0.0-rc1 <= v6.5.0.0-rc4), affecting both shopware/core and shopware/platform GitHub repositories, allows remote attackers with access to a Twig environment without the Sandbox extension to bypass the validation checks in `Shopware\Core\Framework\Adapter\Twig\SecurityExtension` and call any arbitrary PHP function and thus execute arbitrary code/commands via usage of fully-qualified names, supplied as array of strings, when referencing callables. Users are advised to upgrade to v6.4.20.1 to resolve this issue. This is a bypass of CVE-2023-22731. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-79774 9.3 critical 1.0% no CPE yet Winter CMS versions before 1.2.13 contain an incomplete fix for a Twig sandbox escape vulnerability in System\\Twig\\SecurityPolicy that allows authenticated backend users with template-editing permissions to bypass sandbox restrictions. Attackers can exploit method forwarding through Eloquent models and query builders using methods like saveQuietly(), deleteQuietly(), increment(), decrement(), and newQuery() to read and modify arbitrary database records, execute arbitrary SQL, and achieve remote code execution by injecting PHP into template code sections. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-115189 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet A server-side template injection vulnerability exists in the Twig theme rendering sandbox of Mautic. The sandbox introduced to restrict user-uploaded theme templates (the fix for GHSA-9fx4-7cmj-47vg) does not fully enforce its restrictions, allowing a crafted theme template to escape the sandbox. An authenticated user with the core:themes:create permission can upload a malicious theme whose template is later rendered, resulting in execution of arbitrary code on the server with the privileges of the web server process. This allows the attacker to execute operating system commands, read server-side files including configuration files and database credentials, write files, and reach internal services. In default installations the core:themes:create permission is granted to the Administrator role, and in multi-operator setups it may be delegated to other roles. This is an incomplete fix for GHSA-9fx4-7cmj-47vg. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-71291 8.8 high 1.0% no CPE yet Bolt CMS renders content field values through Twig's full application-level Environment with no SandboxExtension registered anywhere in the codebase. In src/Entity/Field.php, getTwigValue calls shouldBeRenderedAsTwig, which gates rendering only on the field definition's allow_twig flag and a regex checking for , , or ; when true, the raw field value is compiled and rendered via with no sandboxing. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-46633 8.7 high 1.0% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, Compiler::string() does not escape single quotes when a template name from a {% use %} tag is placed inside a PHP single-quoted string literal, allowing a crafted template name to terminate the string and inject arbitrary PHP expressions into the compiled cache file. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-46640 8.7 high 1.0% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. From 3.15.0 until 3.26.0, _self.(<string>) and import-alias dynamic attribute syntax can concatenate an attacker-controlled string into a MacroReferenceExpression name without identifier validation, causing raw PHP to be emitted into the generated template source and executed at template-load time. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-58655 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The bundled Grav Flex Objects plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-flex-objects) before 1.4.0 contains a stored server-side template injection vulnerability. When rendering dynamic collection or object titles, the plugin passes user-controlled frontmatter values (page.header.flex.collection.title or page.header.flex.object.title) to Twig's template_from_string(), causing them to be evaluated as Twig code rather than treated as text. This path bypasses Grav's Security::cleanDangerousTwig() sanitization. An attacker who can control the title frontmatter of a publicly reachable Flex Objects page can achieve arbitrary Twig execution and escalate to remote command execution via access to internal Grav services such as the scheduler. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-69118 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Cachet through 2.4.1 contains a server-side template injection vulnerability in incident template rendering that allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code. Attackers can create malicious incident templates with Blade directives or Twig filters that execute system commands when incidents are created, achieving remote code execution as the web server process. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-112770 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Craft CMS 4.x before 4.18.8 and 5.x before 5.11.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the Twig group filter, which invokes non-string arrow arguments as callables without the checkArrow guard used by other arrow-accepting filters. Authenticated control panel users can pass an array-callable such as FileHelper::writeToFile via element-select condition rules to write a webshell to the webroot and execute code as the web user. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-112777 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Craft CMS 4.x before 4.18.8 and 5.x before 5.11.0 contains a blocklist bypass in the Twig create() function because its class-name checks are case-sensitive while PHP class resolution is not. Attackers with template-execution rights, such as Control Panel administrators, can instantiate SplFileObject via a lowercase class name to read .env secrets or write a PHP file into the webroot for remote code execution. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-112772 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Craft CMS from 5.0.0 before 5.11.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows authenticated Control Panel users to escape the Twig sandbox via Asset::getMimeType transforms. Attackers can supply 'as' or 'on' keys passed unfiltered to Craft::createObject, attaching malicious behaviors or event handlers that execute code as the web user. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-112781 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Grav from 2.0.0 before 2.2.2 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows page editors to read protected configuration by adding config-*@ directives to page frontmatter forms. Attackers with page-edit permission can bypass the Twig sandbox config_denied_paths redaction to expose security.salt, plugin credentials, and Redis passwords to all visitors. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-112773 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet Craft CMS from 5.0.0 before 5.11.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows authenticated Control Panel users to escape the Twig sandbox by passing uncleansed criteria to getNext, getPrev, or getOwners. Attackers can inject Yii "as" or "on" config keys to attach malicious event handlers that execute when the element query runs, achieving code execution as the web user. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-75574 8.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The Grav Email plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-email) before 4.2.2 renders page-editor-controlled Email action parameters as unsandboxed Twig templates. An authenticated remote user with only api.access and api.pages.write permissions can place a Twig expression in header.form.process.email.body, publish the page, and submit the form to execute an arbitrary operating-system command as the account running PHP. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-24425 8.7 high 1.0% symfony, twig Twig versions 2.16.x and 3.9.0 through 3.25.x contain a sandbox bypass vulnerability when using a SourcePolicyInterface that allows attackers with template rendering capabilities to pass arbitrary PHP callables to sort, filter, map, and reduce filters. Attackers can exploit the runtime check that fails to use the current template source to bypass sandbox restrictions and execute arbitrary code when the sandbox is enabled through a source policy rather than globally. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-11407 8.6 high 1.0% no CPE yet Pimcore CMS/DXP version 12.3.8 contains a sandbox bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated administrative attackers to execute arbitrary methods on PHP objects by exploiting empty checkMethodAllowed() and checkPropertyAllowed() implementations in the custom Twig SecurityPolicy. Attackers can supply malicious Twig templates through the DataObject ClassDefinition Layout\Text component to perform arbitrary file reads, execute arbitrary database queries, and potentially achieve remote code execution via PHP object gadget chains, with the pimcore_* function wildcard further broadening the bypass to all Pimcore Twig functions. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-42845 7.7 high 1.0% no CPE yet The form plugin for Grav adds the ability to create and use forms. Prior to 9.1.0 , there is an unauthenticated page-content overwrite via file upload (GHSA-w4rc-p66m-x6qq). Public form uploads now strip path components from the POST-supplied filename and hard-block page-content extensions (`md`, `yaml`, `yml`, `json`, `twig`, `ini`) regardless of the configurable dangerous-extensions list. A permissive `accept` policy combined with the default `destination: self@` could otherwise let an attacker overwrite the page's own `.md` and pivot to super-admin via a `process: save` action. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.1.0. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-46634 7.7 high 1.0% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. From 3.9.0 until 3.26.0, template_from_string() compiles an inner template under a synthesized __string_template__<hash> name that can fall outside a SourcePolicyInterface sandbox decision, allowing a sandboxed template that can call template_from_string and include to render an inner template without security policy enforcement. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-46627 7.1 high 1.0% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, the Twig sandbox does not prevent a template from consuming CPU, memory, or wall-clock time, even under the strictest allow-list, allowing untrusted templates to cause resource exhaustion. This issue is addressed in version 3.26.0 by documenting that the sandbox does not protect against resource exhaustion. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-46629 5.3 medium 1.0% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, twig/intl-extra memoises IntlDateFormatter and NumberFormatter instances in arrays keyed by template-controlled filter arguments such as locale, pattern, and attrs, allowing a template to allocate many ICU formatter objects that remain pinned for the lifetime of the Twig\Environment. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-40878 2.1 low 1.0% no CPE yet mailcow: dockerized is an open source groupware/email suite based on docker. In versions prior to 2026-03b, the mailcow web interface passes the raw `$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']` to Twig as a global template variable and renders it inside a JavaScript string literal in the `setLang()` helper of `base.twig`, relying on Twig's default HTML auto-escaping instead of the context-appropriate `js` escaping strategy. In addition, the `query_string()` Twig helper merges all current `$_GET` parameters into the language-switching links on the login page, so attacker-supplied parameters are reflected and preserved across navigation. Version 2026-03b fixes the vulnerability. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-75837 9.3 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 2.0.14 fails to guard the access field in the core group blueprint with the required security@: admin.super restriction. A delegated admin.users operator can save a group with access[admin][super]=true to escalate to super-admin, gaining scheduler and Twig evaluation capabilities. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2025-66844 9.1 critical 0.00% getgrav, grav In grav <1.7.49.5, a SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vector may be triggered via Twig templates when page content is processed by Twig and the configuration allows undefined PHP functions to be registered Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-107248 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Thelia 3.0.0's back-office Email/Messages feature contains a server‑side template injection (SSTI) flaw that allows any authenticated user with the “Messages” permission to supply unsandboxed Twig templates, which are then compiled and executed as raw code. By modifying Message content, an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP functions, read sensitive files, and potentially write to the filesystem, leading to full compromise of the application and underlying host. This vulnerability has been patched in thelia/twig-engine-module 1.0.9. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-10380 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Advanced Views – Display Posts, Custom Fields, and More plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.19. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and lack of access control when processing custom Twig templates in the Model panel. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access or higher, to execute arbitrary PHP code and commands on the server. 11 Oct
CVE-2026-115935 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The app/process-api-response-headers action accepts fake Craft API response headers from any authenticated control panel user. A non-admin user with only accessCp can place newline characters in X-Craft-Plugin-Licenses. Craft passes this value to its .env writer without removing the newlines. This lets the user insert a new attacker-known CRAFT_SECURITY_KEY into .env. After Craft loads that key, the user can forge a signed login redirect containing a Twig system() callback. This is different from the previous report. That report reads the existing key through a Twig sandbox bypass. This report replaces the key through fake API headers and CRLF injection. Fixing either source does not fix the other. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-115938 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Craft CMS allows any authenticated control panel user to submit an element-search condition whose element selector is evaluated as a sandboxed Twig object template. Craft’s allowed column filter delegates property lookup to Yii ArrayHelper, outside Twig’s SecurityPolicy. Repeated single-segment lookups therefore bypass the sandbox’s empty property/method allowlists. The vulnerable condition value is ultimately cast to an integer. That does not protect the secret: the template can return author ID 1 when a guessed key character is correct and an impossible ID otherwise. The JSON endpoint returns entries for the first case and an empty array for the second, forming a stable remote character oracle. After recovering GeneralConfig::securityKey, the same user can compute Craft’s generic HMAC wire format offline. Signed parameters such as redirect are then accepted and passed to unsandboxed View::renderObjectTemplate(), where Twig’s string-callable form can invoke native PHP callables. The regression proof uses the harmless substr() callback and observes abcdef becoming cdef; it does not execute an OS command. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-65603 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Grav Login plugin (grav-plugin-login) versions <= 3.8.11 contain a privilege escalation flaw in the authenticated profile self-update handler (processUserProfile(), the update_user task). Unlike the registration handler, this handler does not strip privilege fields ('groups','access') from user-submitted form data before persisting them. When an administrator has added 'groups' and/or 'access' to plugins.login.user_registration.fields and the default 'regular'/DataUser account backend is in use, a low-privilege authenticated user can POST crafted profile form data (e.g. access[admin][super]=true) to escalate to super-admin, enabling admin panel access, scheduler abuse (RCE), and Twig evaluation. Fixed in 3.8.12. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-72779 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Craft CMS 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 and 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 contain an arbitrary file read vulnerability. The create() Twig function restricts class instantiation using a 5-entry blocklist that does not include SplFileObject, allowing an authenticated administrator (with allowAdminChanges=true) to configure a malicious entry type title or URI format that instantiates SplFileObject in a non-sandboxed template context. When a user subsequently creates an entry in the affected section, arbitrary files on the server (such as .env containing the security key and database credentials) are read and rendered as entry titles. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-109305 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Craft CMS from 5.10.2 before 5.10.14 contains a Twig sandbox bypass that allows non-admin users to invoke PHP callables through the "has some" and "has every" operators. Users with the System Messages permission can supply two-argument callables such as passthru or system in sandboxed templates to execute code as the web user. 15 Oct
CVE-2026-76839 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 2.0.16 allows sandboxed Twig templates to access sensitive User fields through allow-listed offsetGet() and offsetexists() methods that lack field filtering. Attackers with page-edit permissions can call offsetGet() on User objects to extract hashed passwords and 2FA secrets, enabling offline password cracking and authentication bypass. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-76846 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 2.0.16 contains an incomplete default denylist in the Twig sandbox configuration that fails to block access to system configuration secrets. Attackers with page-edit permission can use config.get() or config.toArray() in Twig templates to retrieve sensitive values like system.cache.redis.password when config_access is enabled. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-80198 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Kimai versions before 2.56.0 fail to restrict the config() Twig function in sandboxed invoice and export templates, allowing administrators to access arbitrary configuration keys. Attackers with admin privileges can upload malicious templates to exfiltrate server-wide secrets including LDAP bind passwords and SAML private keys into invoice or export documents accessible to lower-privileged users. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-69088 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav CMS versions 2.0.7 through 2.0.10 fail to validate fully-qualified static method calls (Class::method) in blueprint dynamic-field directives because Blueprint::isSafeDynamicCall() only applies its dangerous-callable denylist to strings that do not contain '::'. An account with only page-editing rights (admin.pages, not super-admin or admin.pages_twig) can plant a directive in a page's form-field frontmatter that invokes an arbitrary public static PHP method with attacker-controlled arguments. Using built-in gadget methods this allows reading of any server-readable file (disclosed to anonymous visitors of the crafted page) and arbitrary creation/copying of files and directories under the web-server account. Fixed in 2.0.11. Fri 23 Oct
CVE-2026-75829 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet grav-plugin-api versions before 1.0.15 fail to validate Twig content in the translate() endpoint, allowing attackers with api.pages.write permission to persist pages with process.twig enabled. Attackers can submit crafted header and content parameters to execute server-side template injection payloads that are evaluated at render time. Thu 22 Oct
CVE-2026-46361 8.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet phpMyFAQ before 4.1.2 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in search.twig where result.question and result.answerPreview are rendered with the raw filter, disabling autoescape protection. Attackers with FAQ editor privileges can inject HTML-entity-encoded payloads that bypass html_entity_decode(strip_tags()) processing in SearchController.php, executing arbitrary JavaScript in every visitor's browser context including administrators. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-44738 7.7 high 0.00% getgrav, grav Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.0-rc.2, the Twig sandbox allow-list permits any user with the admin.pages role to call config.toArray() from within a page body, dumping the entire merged site configuration — including all plugin secrets (SMTP passwords, AWS keys, OAuth client secrets, API tokens) — into the rendered HTML. No administrator privileges are required. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-rc.2. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-61873 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet Grav before 9.1.8 contains an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the Form plugin's process.save.filename parameter, which is validated against path traversal before Twig processing but never re-validated after rendering. Attackers can submit form data containing path traversal sequences that are processed through Twig templates, allowing them to write arbitrary files including PHP webshells to the web root or other sensitive directories. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-46639 7.1 high 0.00% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. From 3.24.0 until 3.26.0, object-destructuring assignment compiles CoreExtension::getAttribute() with the sandbox argument hardcoded to false, disabling property and method policy checks and allowing an attacker with write access to a sandboxed Twig template to read public properties or invoke public getters on objects passed to the template engine. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-47732 7.1 high 0.00% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, several Twig language constructs trigger PHP string coercion on a Stringable operand without consulting SecurityPolicy::checkMethodAllowed(), allowing a sandboxed template author to invoke __toString() on objects reachable in the render context through conditional expressions, comparison operators, tests, template-loading tags, dynamic attribute names, spread arguments, the do tag, and the .. range operator. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48806 7.1 high 0.00% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.27.0, ArrayExpression does not guard dynamic mapping keys that are coerced to strings, allowing PHP to invoke __toString() on a Stringable object used as a mapping key without calling SandboxExtension::ensureToStringAllowed(). This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-48807 7.1 high 0.00% symfony, twig Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.27.0, the sandbox __toString() checks do not fully cover Traversable values passed to join and replace filters or operands evaluated by the in and not in operators, allowing contained Stringable objects to be coerced to strings without consulting the sandbox policy. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-72782 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet Craft CMS versions >= 5.0.0-RC1 before 5.10.6 and >= 4.0.0-RC1 before 4.18.2 interpolate environment variables and secrets (via ${ENV_VAR} strings in the elementId parameter) into Twig templates before rendering, even when the Twig sandbox is enabled. An authenticated attacker with control panel access can render a malicious sandboxed Twig template and, using a blind error-based technique across many requests, incrementally leak arbitrary environment variables and secrets. These can be abused to forge sessions (via CRAFT_SECURITY_KEY), escalate privileges, and steal database, SMTP, API, or blob storage credentials. Fixed in 5.10.6 and 4.18.2. Sat 24 Oct
