CVE-2026-71575 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, cxf The max_age authentication-freshness check in OidcClientCodeRequestFilter was inoperative due to a milliseconds/seconds unit mismatch and an inverted comparison polarity. Any relying party using setMaxAgeOffset to enforce re-authentication would silently accept sessions of any age, bypassing step-up authentication policies. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-103635 9.1 critical 0.00% no CPE yet Out-of-bounds read in the compact Theta sketch deserialization of Apache DataSketches C++ (repo: datasketches-cpp). compact_theta_sketch::deserialize() and wrapped_compact_theta_sketch::wrap() read header fields before checking that the input was long enough. For the compressed format, the size check could be defeated by a 32-bit overflow, and two header fields that control decoding were not validated; this also affected deserialization from a stream. A crafted or truncated sketch could cause a read past the end of the input. In the compressed case the over-read can be large, and the bytes read can become part of the deserialized sketch. This can cause a crash (denial of service) and could expose adjacent memory contents. This issue affects Apache DataSketches C++: from 3.1.0 before 5.3.0. Only applications that deserialize Theta sketches from untrusted sources are affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.3.0, which fixes this issue. 16 Oct
CVE-2026-31986 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, ofbiz Use of Hard-coded Cryptographic Key vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-41919 9.1 critical 0.00% apache, ofbiz Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.06. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.06, which fixes the issue. 14 Oct
CVE-2026-27314 8.8 high 0.00% apache, cassandra Privilege escalation in Apache Cassandra 5.0 on an mTLS environment using MutualTlsAuthenticator allows a user with only CREATE permission to associate their own certificate identity with an arbitrary role, including a superuser role, and authenticate as that role via ADD IDENTITY. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.7+, which fixes this issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33704 8.8 high 0.00% chamilo, chamilo_lms Chamilo LMS is a learning management system. Prior to 1.11.38, any authenticated user (including students) can write arbitrary content to files on the server via the BigUpload endpoint. The key parameter controls the filename and the raw POST body becomes the file content. While .php extensions are filtered to .phps, the .pht extension passes through unmodified. On Apache configurations where .pht is handled as PHP, this leads to Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.11.38. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-53593 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.224, the denylist that neutralizes dangerous file uploads (`Helper::$restricted_extensions`) is incomplete: it does not cover the `.pht` extension. The authenticated upload endpoint `POST /uploads/upload` (`SecureController@upload`) stores files with their original extension into the web-accessible directory `storage/app/public/uploads/` (served at `/storage/uploads/`). On the standard Apache + `libapache2-mod-php` deployment, the default handler `<FilesMatch ".+\.ph(ar|p[3457]?|t|tml)$">` executes `.pht`, so **any authenticated agent can upload a `.pht` web shell and run arbitrary commands as the web-server user** (`www-data`). This is a direct bypass of the fix for CVE-2025-48471, which added `phtml`/`phar` but not `pht` (nor `phtm`, `phps`). Version 1.8.224 contains an updated fix. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-58076 8.8 high 0.00% apache, airflow Apache Airflow's serialization layer reconstructed exception nodes by calling `import_string()` on a class name taken from the serialized blob and instantiating it with arguments from the same blob, with no restriction on what could be imported. An operator's `executor_config` reaches that branch, so a Dag author could place a value there that causes an arbitrary callable to be imported and invoked -- for example `subprocess.check_output`, or `builtins.eval` on the `builtins`-prefixed variant. The code runs in the **Scheduler**, which reconstructs serialized Dags in its normal loop with no request involved, and in the **API server**, on any authenticated read of the Dag such as `GET /api/v2/dags/{dag_id}/details`. Both are components the Airflow security model states must never execute Dag-author code, and both hold the metadata database credentials and the JWT signing secret. No non-default configuration is required. This is a **different sink from CVE-2026-33264**, which covered only the trigger branch of the same deserializer: deployments that upgraded in response to that advisory are still affected through the exception branch and must upgrade again. Users are advised to upgrade to apache-airflow 3.3.1 or later, which restricts the imported class to a subclass of `BaseException`. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-28813 8.8 high 0.00% apache, jspwiki Apache JSPWiki, up to 2.12.3, is vulnerable to JSON Hijacking, which leads to csrf vulnerabilities. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.12.4, which fixes this issue. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111804 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Apache Traffic Server's experimental wasm plugin has a use-after-free in its transaction-close handler and forwards unvalidated guest-supplied metric IDs to the internal stats API. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: from 10.0.0 through 10.1.4, 10.2.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.1.5 or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-68571 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability in Apache Kylin. Special parameter in JDBC URL can lead to code injection. Impact most to the kylin services that are directly exposed to public network, which is not common. In-house kylin deployments are mostly not impacted. This issue affects Apache Kylin: from 4 through 5.0.4. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 5.0.5, which fixes the issue. 19 Oct
CVE-2026-103413 8.8 high 0.00% no CPE yet Improper input validation vulnerability in Apache Camel Karavan. When a deployment was started, Karavan unmarshalled a project's `kubernetes.yaml` and applied every resource it contained to the cluster without restricting the resource kinds, without rejecting security-sensitive pod options, and without pinning the target namespace. An authenticated user of any role could therefore have Karavan apply arbitrary Kubernetes resources within the reach of its service account, including pods requesting hostNetwork, hostPID, hostIPC, hostPath volumes, host ports, privileged containers, privilege escalation or added capabilities. This issue affects Apache Camel Karavan: from 4.0.0 before 4.22.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.22.1, which fixes the issue. 15 Oct
CVE-2025-47410 8.8 high 0.00% apache, geode Apache Geode is vulnerable to CSRF attacks through GET requests to the Management and Monitoring REST API that could allow an attacker who has tricked a user into giving up their Geode session credentials to submit malicious commands on the target system on behalf of the authenticated user. This issue affects Apache Geode: versions 1.10 through 1.15.1 Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.15.2, which fixes the issue. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-35554 8.7 high 0.00% apache, kafka A race condition in the Apache Kafka Java producer client’s buffer pool management can cause messages to be silently delivered to incorrect topics. When a produce batch expires due to delivery.timeout.ms while a network request containing that batch is still in flight, the batch’s ByteBuffer is prematurely deallocated and returned to the buffer pool. If a subsequent producer batch—potentially destined for a different topic—reuses this freed buffer before the original network request completes, the buffer contents may become corrupted. This can result in messages being delivered to unintended topics without any error being reported to the producer. Data Confidentiality: Messages intended for one topic may be delivered to a different topic, potentially exposing sensitive data to consumers who have access to the destination topic but not the intended source topic. Data Integrity: Consumers on the receiving topic may encounter unexpected or incompatible messages, leading to deserialization failures, processing errors, and corrupted downstream data. This issue affects Apache Kafka versions ≤ 3.9.1, ≤ 4.0.1, and ≤ 4.1.1. Kafka users are advised to upgrade to 3.9.2, 4.0.2, 4.1.2, 4.2.0, or later to address this vulnerability. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41636 8.7 high 0.00% apache, thrift Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Apache Thrift Node.js bindings This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-105937 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Apache Pulsar shadow topics (PIP-180) are topics that read the stored messages of a source topic from that topic's managed ledger. The source topic is selected by setting the reserved topic property PULSAR.SHADOW_SOURCE. The admin REST API accepts this property when creating a non-partitioned or partitioned topic and when updating the properties of an existing topic. On these paths the broker authorizes the caller only against the topic being created or updated. It does not authorize the caller against the source topic named in the property. The existing authorization for shadow topic configuration (the SHADOW_TOPIC topic policy on the source topic) is applied only to the source-side shadow topics admin API, not to these paths. As a result, an authenticated user who is allowed to create topics or update topic properties in one tenant can bind a topic in that tenant to a persistent topic in any other tenant. With the default authorization provider, these operations require the tenant admin role for the user's own tenant. The user does not need any permission on the source topic, its namespace or its tenant. This impact analysis assumes that Pulsar has been configured with the default authorization provider. For custom authorization providers, the impact could be different. The user can then consume from the shadow topic, using only permissions on their own topic, and receive retained messages that were published to the source topic in the other tenant. Exposure is limited to messages that are still retained and readable in the source topic's ledgers; messages protected with client-side end-to-end encryption cannot be decrypted without the encryption keys. A producer on the shadow topic can also register a new schema version under the source topic's schema, subject to the schema compatibility settings; existing schema versions are not replaced. In addition, the shadow topic's managed ledger applies its own retention, trimming, offloading and deletion to the source topic's ledgers. This can permanently delete the source topic's ledger data from BookKeeper and from tiered storage, regardless of the source topic's own subscriptions and retention policy, including messages that have not yet been acknowledged. Deleting the shadow topic can also delete the source topic's ledgers. This data loss can also affect shadow topics that were configured intentionally by administrators. This issue affects Apache Pulsar versions from 3.0.0 before 4.0.14 and from 4.1.0 before 4.2.5. Apache Pulsar 2.x releases do not contain the shadow topic implementation. - 4.0.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.0.14. - 4.1.x and 4.2.x version users should upgrade to at least 4.2.5. Users operating versions prior to those listed above should upgrade to the aforementioned patched versions or newer versions. The currently supported Apache Pulsar release lines are 4.0.x and 5.0.x. The supported versions schedule is available at https://pulsar.apache.org/contribute/release-policy/. In the fixed versions, shadow topics are disabled by default and are controlled by the new broker configuration setting enableShadowTopics (default false). While it is disabled, the broker rejects creating shadow topics, setting the PULSAR.SHADOW_SOURCE property, and loading or replicating to existing shadow topics. Deployments that use shadow topics must set enableShadowTopics=true in the broker configuration of all brokers after upgrading; otherwise existing shadow topics will not be loaded. When shadow topics are enabled, binding a shadow topic to a source topic in a different tenant requires the superuser role. The fixed versions also prevent a shadow topic from deleting or trimming the ledgers and offloaded data of its source topic. Affected versions provide no configuration option to disable shadow topics. Users who cannot upgrade immediately can reduce exposure by granting the tenant admin role only to trusted principals. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111810 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Apache Traffic Server 9.2.15, 10.1.4 and 10.2.0 write one unthrottled diagnostic log line for every internal @ header they strip, so a request carrying many such headers makes the proxy write far more log data than the request contains. This issue affects Apache Traffic Server: 9.2.15, 10.1.4, 10.2.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.2.16, 10.1.5, or 10.2.1, which fix the issue. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-19678 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the unauthenticated form service in version 11.0.14 in onPhase Forms allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access sensitive internal Apache Solr data via an attacker-controlled URL supplied to a publicly accessible form. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-113582 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED Improper restriction of XML external entity references in Apache Abdera allows an attacker to access sensitive data or make server-side requests when an application parses attacker-controlled XML with Abdera. This issue affects Apache Abdera: all versions. Apache Abdera is retired and no longer supported, so we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to migrate to a maintained alternative. Applications that cannot migrate should ensure that untrusted XML cannot reach the affected Abdera parser or JDBC adapter parsing paths. Actively maintained downstream products may still be impacted if they include an affected Abdera artifact. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. 22 Oct
CVE-2026-105299 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Summary Before version 0.9.0, the HTTP/1 upstream path in pingora-proxy passed the downstream request through upstream_request_filter and wrote it to the upstream without removing the client's Connection header, other hop-by-hop headers, or the headers Connection nominated, although RFC 9110 Section 7.6.1 requires intermediaries to remove them. The HTTP/2 upstream path already removed Connection and related HTTP/1-specific headers. A client could therefore nominate a header that the application adds in upstream_request_filter (for example, Connection: keep-alive, X-Forwarded-For). A downstream HTTP/1 intermediary that honors Connection would then strip the Pingora-added header before it reached the origin. Impact Specifically affects chained deployments where an HTTP/1 intermediary between Pingora and the origin processes Connection nominations (for example, Go's net/http/httputil.ReverseProxy) and the origin trusts headers added by that intermediary (for example, X-Forwarded-For for IP-based authorization). A remote, unauthenticated attacker can have those headers removed, potentially bypassing authorization. The reporter demonstrated access to an IP-restricted endpoint using X-Forwarded-For for IP validation on the origin. This is the same class of issue as CVE-2022-31813 in Apache HTTP Server. Note that Cloudflare CDN customers were unaffected, as no such chained deployment as described above exists with internal Pingora services, and Connection headers are sanitized before arriving at Pingora gateways. Mitigation: * Upgrade to pingora 0.9.0 or later. By default, Pingora now removes hop-by-hop and Connection-nominated headers from upstream requests, and rejects requests whose Connection header nominates Host, X-Forwarded-For, X-Forwarded-Host, X-Forwarded-Proto, or a pseudo-header. This is controlled by PeerOptions::http_upstream_request_policy (HttpUpstreamRequestPolicy). Fix commits: https://github.com/cloudflare/pingora/commit/28c18e6b6b04dd0bd937234e5950049e6d74cded , https://github.com/cloudflare/pingora/commit/ca23f1668eca8e78be7ba62ef0edbd458b40eeee * Do not use HttpUpstreamRequestPolicy::preserve() if the origin relies on headers added by Pingora; it restores the old passthrough behavior. * If you cannot upgrade: in upstream_request_filter, remove the Connection header and every header it nominates before adding trusted headers. 20 Oct
CVE-2026-48557 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet Spatie Laravel Media Library before version 11.23.0 contains a file upload restriction bypass in FileAdder::defaultSanitizer(). The sanitizer checks only the final filename suffix, allowing double-extension filenames such as shell.php.jpg to bypass the blocklist, with pathinfo() preserving inner .php stems in saved filenames. The blocklist also omits executable extensions including .php6, .shtml, and .htaccess. The double-extension bypass requires a legacy Apache AddHandler configuration to achieve PHP execution; the incomplete blocklist bypass does not. 8 Oct
CVE-2026-52747 8.6 high 0.00% owasp, modsecurity ModSecurity is an open source, cross platform web application firewall (WAF) engine for Apache, IIS and Nginx. Prior to 3.0.16, the multipart/form-data request body parser in libmodsecurity silently removes embedded line breaks from non-file form-field values before exporting them to ARGS and ARGS_POST because src/request_body_processor/multipart.cc overwrites reserved bytes in m_reserve instead of appending the current buffer. This creates a parser differential between ModSecurity and backend applications that preserve line breaks in form fields, allowing rules that inspect ARGS or ARGS_POST to miss payloads whose dangerous syntax depends on a line break. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.16. 25 Oct
CVE-2026-63725 8.6 high 0.00% no CPE yet sysPass's FileBackupService::doBackupFiles() in lib/SP/Services/Backup/FileBackupService.php around line 388 builds a tar shell command by string-concatenating the backup directory path $this->path directly into the command line ('tar czf ' . $backupFileApp . ' ' . BASE_PATH . ' --exclude \"' . $this->path . '\" 2>&1') and passes the result to PHP's exec() with no application of escapeshellarg() and no validation of the path against a safe character set. The $this->path value is read from the sysPass configuration, which is persisted in the database and writable through the admin settings API and the admin UI. An administrator (or an attacker who has obtained an admin API token or admin session) can therefore store a backup path containing shell metacharacters and trigger a backup operation to execute arbitrary OS commands as the web server process user (typically www-data or apache). Because sysPass is a password manager whose sole purpose is to hold credentials for other systems, code execution as the web-server user permits reading sysPass's master password and encryption key from memory or configuration files, decrypting every stored credential in the database, exporting the entire password vault, pivoting to internal systems using the disclosed credentials, and installing persistent backdoors on the password-manager host. 24 Oct
CVE-2026-84170 8.3 high — apache software foundation, apache wicket Allocation of resources without limits or throttling in Apache Wicket. org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.resource.AbstractFileUploadResource is the server side of the form-less upload offered by FileUploadToResourceField, which posts the selected files to a separately mounted resource rather than through a Form. The resource is an application-wide singleton with no component to consult, so newResourceResponse() takes the three limits that bound the upload - the total request size, the maximum size of a single part and the maximum number of parts - from the request parameters maxSize, fileMaxSize and fileCountMax, and hands them to the multipart parser as they arrive. Nothing binds those numbers to the field that is supposed to be uploading. A request naming a very large maxSize is therefore parsed with no effective ceiling on the total size, and omitting fileMaxSize and fileCountMax leaves the per-part and part-count limits unset as well. The values the application configured through FileUploadToResourceField#setMaxSize(), #setFileMaxSize() and #setFileCountMax() are consulted only when the client omits the corresponding parameter, so against a client that supplies one they have no effect at all. Parts above the parser's in-memory threshold are spooled to the container's temporary directory, and the file parts are then copied into the folder the application's IUploadsFileManager owns, under a sub-folder the request names, where they remain. A part that is not a file is read into the heap in full while the request is parsed. One request, repeatable, can therefore consume as much disk or as much heap as the client chooses to send. The resource carries no authorization annotation and the default authorization strategy permits every resource request, so unless the application authorizes the resource itself the request needs no authentication, no session, no prior page view and no user interaction. An application is affected where it uses FileUploadToResourceField, or mounts FileUploadResourceReference itself. This is not the ordinary upload path: the resource is a singleton that has to be created and mounted deliberately. An application that configures no upload limit at all loses nothing, because Wicket applies no total-size limit of its own by default; what the defect removes is a limit the application set. Uploads through Form with FileUploadField, and through AjaxFileDropBehavior, are not affected, because both read their limits from the component rather than from the request. The upload resource does not exist in the 8.x line. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 9.14.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.9.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-83594 8.3 high — apache software foundation, apache wicket Memory allocation with an excessive size value in Apache Wicket. org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.resource.FileUploadToResourceField uploads files to a separately mounted resource rather than through a form, and is told the outcome afterwards over its own Ajax callback. That callback reads the request parameter filesInfo, a JSON array carrying a client file name, a size and a content type for each file, and turns it into the list of FileUploadToResourceField.UploadInfo that onUploadSuccess() receives. Nothing binds that JSON to an upload the resource performed and nothing re-derives it from the stored files, so the number of entries and every value in them are whatever the request supplied. The callback URL is rendered into the page, no prior upload is required, and both GET and POST reach it, so any client that can load the page can have the component report files that were never uploaded, without authenticating beyond whatever the page itself requires and without any user interaction. UploadInfo#get(), which the class offers as the way to obtain the bytes of an upload, allocates a byte array from UploadInfo#getSize() before it opens the file. The array is therefore sized by the number the request supplied, and the allocation happens even for a file that was never stored. One small request can cost the server close to two gigabytes of heap, and the request is trivially repeatable, so a few of them exhaust the heap for every request the Java virtual machine is serving. A size that the conversion to int turns negative instead throws NegativeArraySizeException, which the exception handler inside that method does not cover, so it escapes into the application. An application is affected where it uses FileUploadToResourceField, which is not the ordinary upload path through FileUploadField and Form and has to be extended and mounted deliberately. The allocation additionally requires the application to call UploadInfo#get() rather than reading UploadInfo#getFile() itself. Where the application denies the ENABLE action on the field through its authorization strategy, the callback is refused like any other listener. The 8.x line does not contain this component and is not affected. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 9.14.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.11.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-61586 8.2 high 0.00% copernik-eu, copernik-xml-factory Copernik XML Factory provides secure-by-default JAXP factory creation for Java. Prior to 0.1.2, Copernik XML Factory does not block XInclude resource resolution on the stock JDK provider after an application enables XInclude on a factory returned by `XmlFactories.newDocumentBuilderFactory()` or `XmlFactories.newSAXParserFactory()`, or on an `XMLReader` passed through `XmlFactories.harden()`. An application parsing untrusted XML can resolve attacker-controlled `xi:include` references to disclose local files or, through `http` references, reach internal network endpoints by server-side request forgery. Exploitation requires use of one of those factory/hardening APIs, the stock JDK provider with Apache Xerces absent from the classpath, explicit `setXIncludeAware(true)` or the equivalent reader feature, and XML from an untrusted source. The Xerces provider selected when Xerces is present and the Android provider are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 0.1.2. Fri 30 Oct
CVE-2026-42268 8.2 high 0.00% owasp, modsecurity ModSecurity is an open source, cross platform web application firewall (WAF) engine for Apache, IIS and Nginx. CVE-2026-105942 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet When a configured proxy role sends a request to the broker on behalf of another user (the original principal), the broker is designed to authorize both the proxy role and the original principal and to allow the request only if both are authorized, so that the original principal cannot exceed its own permissions. Two flaws weakened this check. First, the original principal was authorized with the proxy's authentication data instead of its own. On the admin REST API of the broker and the functions worker, this applied to every proxied request. On the Pulsar binary protocol, it applied when the proxy did not forward the client's credentials to the broker, which was the default of the Pulsar proxy in the affected versions. Authorization providers that resolve permissions from the role name only, such as the default authorization provider, are not affected by this flaw. The multi-role token authorization provider (MultiRolesTokenAuthorizationProvider), added in Apache Pulsar 2.8.1, resolves roles from the role claim of the token in the authentication data it is given. When a proxy authenticates to the broker with its own token, the original principal was therefore authorized with all roles in the proxy's token. If any of those roles is a superuser or tenant admin role, any user whose requests are forwarded by that proxy can perform operations that need those permissions without holding them. Custom authorization providers that use the authentication data could be affected in a similar way. Second, independently of the authorization provider, the tenant admin check of a proxied admin REST API request succeeded without checking the original principal when the proxy role was itself an admin role of the tenant. In deployments where a proxy role is a tenant admin, including with the default authorization provider, any user whose requests are forwarded by that proxy could perform tenant administration operations on that tenant. This behavior is present from 2.8.4 in the 2.8.x releases, from 2.9.3 in the 2.9.x releases, and from 2.10.1 onwards. Deployments that use neither the multi-role token authorization provider nor a custom provider that uses the authentication data are not affected by the first flaw, and with the multi-role token authorization provider, neither are deployments whose proxies do not authenticate to the broker with a token. Deployments in which no proxy role is listed as an admin role of a tenant are not affected by the second flaw. A proxy role that is a superuser but is not listed as a tenant admin does not trigger it, because the tenant admin check of the built-in authorization providers only considers the tenant's admin roles; this can differ for custom authorization providers that treat superusers as tenant admins. In fixed versions, both the proxy role and the original principal are authorized for each proxied request, and the original principal is authorized only with its own authentication data. With the multi-role token authorization provider, the roles of a forwarded token are used for the original principal only when that token authenticates as the original principal; otherwise only the original principal's role name is used. For tenant admin checks, the proxy role and the original principal must each be a superuser or a tenant admin of the tenant. This issue affects Apache Pulsar versions from 2.8.1 before 4.0.14 and from 4.1.0 before 4.2.5. CVE-2026-105945 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet The Pulsar Packages Management Service can be configured to store packages on the local filesystem of the broker by using the filesystem storage provider. Package names consist of a type, tenant, namespace, name and version. Authorization of package operations is based only on the tenant and namespace, while the storage location of a package is derived from all of these components. The version component of a package name was not validated, so it could contain URL-encoded path separators and parent directory references. The filesystem storage provider resolved such a version to a location belonging to a package in a different tenant or namespace. Because that location is inside the configured storage directory, the containment check that the filesystem storage provider performs in recent releases did not prevent the access. An authenticated user who has the packages permission on any namespace could use this to download, overwrite or delete packages stored in other tenants or namespaces for which the user has no permission. Packages overwritten or deleted in this way may be used by Pulsar Functions, Sources or Sinks, so the issue can affect the integrity and availability of these components. If authentication is disabled, the operations are available to any client that can reach the broker's admin REST API. This issue only affects deployments in which package management is enabled with the broker setting enablePackagesManagement and the filesystem storage provider (FileSystemPackagesStorageProvider) is configured with the setting packagesManagementStorageProvider. Package management is disabled by default, and the default storage provider, which stores packages in Apache BookKeeper, is not affected. This issue affects Apache Pulsar versions from 2.10.0 before 4.0.14 and from 4.1.0 before 4.2.5. CVE-2026-62354 7.7 high 0.00% apache, nifi Authorization handling for Parameter Context validation requests in Apache NiFi 1.10.0 through 2.10.0 allows clients with read access to submit proposed Parameter values. The proposed values override current configuration, enabling users with read access to invoke predefined component validation methods with alternative settings. Apache NiFi installations that do not implement different levels of authorization for viewing and modifying Parameter Context configuration are not subject to this vulnerability. Upgrading to Apache NiFi 2.11.0 is the recommended mitigation, requiring write access to submit Parameter Context validation requests. 23 Oct
CVE-2026-111089 7.6 high — apache software foundation, apache wicket Apache Wicket reads texts from the application's resource bundles — a localized label, a css class name — and writes some of them into the JavaScript and the markup it generates for a component. Those texts are placed inside single-quoted JavaScript string literals and inside quoted attribute values without being escaped for that context, so a text containing a quote ends the literal or the attribute, and what follows is parsed as script or as markup in the application's origin when the page loads. A resource bundle entry is authored for the application and does not say where the framework will write it. The same key is read by the framework into element text, where Wicket escapes it, and into the contexts below, where it did not. A text containing an apostrophe, which is ordinary in several languages, is enough to break the page; a text under the influence of another party is enough to run script. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-core, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.MultiFileUploadField writes the org.apache.wicket.mfu.delete message into a JavaScript string literal, and org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.Form writes the hidden-fields css class into the class attribute of the container it renders for its hidden fields; on 8.0.0 through 8.19.0 and 9.0.0 through 9.24.0 Form#appendDefaultButtonField writes the same css class into a second container. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-extensions, UploadProgressBar writes its UploadProgressBar.starting text into a JavaScript string literal, FilterForm writes the hidden-fields css class into the class attribute of its hidden input markup, and on 9.0.0 through 9.24.0 and 10.0.0 through 10.11.0 TrapFocusBehavior writes its current css class into a JavaScript string literal. The Content-Security-Policy that Apache Wicket 9.x and 10.x send by default does not prevent the JavaScript cases: the generated script is written into a script element carrying the per-response nonce, so the injected code is part of a script the policy admits. It does prevent an inline event handler injected through the attribute cases. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.0.0 through 8.19.0, from 9.0.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.11.0. Users of Apache Wicket 7.x or older, which are no longer supported, should upgrade to a supported version. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.20.0, 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-95863 7.6 high — apache software foundation, apache wicket Improper neutralization of input during web page generation in Apache Wicket. Apache Wicket generates JavaScript that refers to the elements it renders, and writes into that JavaScript two values it derives itself: a component's markup id, and the input name of a form component, which is built from component ids. Both are placed inside single-quoted JavaScript string literals without being escaped for that context, so a value containing a single quote or a backslash ends the literal, and what follows is parsed as script and runs in the application's origin when the page loads. A markup id is the value passed to org.apache.wicket.Component#setMarkupId(String), or the id attribute written in the component's markup, or an id Wicket generates, in that order. The first two are supplied by the application in an HTML context, where both characters are legal and where Wicket escapes them correctly when it writes the same value into the id attribute of the element; a generated id cannot contain either. An input name is derived from the ids of the components between the form and the form component, and a component id was rejected only for ':' and '~'. In org.apache.wicket:wicket-core on 9.x and 10.x, org.apache.wicket.markup.head.OnEventHeaderItem#forMarkupId(String, String, CharSequence) quotes the id it is given into a Wicket.Event.add call, and components in both wicket-core and wicket-extensions reach it through #forComponent(Component, String, CharSequence). On every affected version, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.Form writes its markup id and the id of its hidden-fields container into such literals, org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.FormComponentUpdatingBehavior writes an input name, and org.apache.wicket.markup.html.form.upload.MultiFileUploadField writes two markup ids and an input name. On 8.x, Form also writes an input name into the action of a submitting link, and on 8.x and 9.x Form#appendDefaultButtonField writes an input name into a name attribute with no escaping at all, so a value containing a double quote escapes the attribute into markup. org.apache.wicket:wicket-extensions is affected in its own right and not only through wicket-core: AjaxEditableLabel, AjaxIndicatorAppender, AjaxDisableComponentListener, UploadProgressBar, KittenCaptchaPanel, Palette, FilterForm and, on 9.x and 10.x, TrapFocusBehavior and AjaxListPanel each build their own JavaScript containing a markup id. An application is affected where a markup id or a component id carries one of those characters. Wicket does not put one there itself, so the value comes from the application: an id set on a component, an id attribute in a template, or a component id derived from data. None of those is a JavaScript context from the application's point of view. The Content-Security-Policy that Apache Wicket 9.x and 10.x send by default does not prevent this. The generated script is written into a script element carrying the per-response nonce, so the injected code is part of a script the policy admits. The fixed versions check an id where it enters instead of escaping each place it is written. A component id and a markup id may no longer contain a quote, a backquote, a backslash, braces, angle brackets, a semicolon, an ampersand or a control character, and a markup id may not contain parentheses or square brackets either; a component constructed with such an id, or given such a markup id, fails with an exception. 11 h ago
CVE-2026-82956 7.6 high — apache software foundation, apache wicket Improper neutralization of input during web page generation in Apache Wicket. org.apache.wicket.ajax.AjaxNewWindowNotifyingBehavior notices that a page instance has been opened in a second browser window or tab. It asks the browser for the value of window.name, which reaches the server as the request parameter windowName, and remembers what the browser reported in a field of the behaviour. That field is part of the page's serialized state, so the remembered value stays in the page store for as long as the page instance does. On every later render of that page instance the behaviour builds the precondition of its Ajax call by substituting the remembered value into a single-quoted JavaScript string literal, and Wicket writes that precondition into the page as raw JavaScript, because the precondition of an Ajax call listener is script supplied by the caller and is emitted without quoting or escaping. Nothing on that path escapes the value. The window name is client-supplied and Wicket applies no validation to it, so a remembered name containing a single quote ends the literal and the rest of it runs as script in the application's origin, every time that page instance is rendered. An application is affected only where it has explicitly added AjaxNewWindowNotifyingBehavior to a component. No part of the framework installs the behaviour, so an application that does not use it is not affected. The name the behaviour generates for itself, when the browser reports no name at all, is a random UUID and is not client-supplied. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 8.0.0 through 8.19.0, from 9.0.0 through 9.24.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.11.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 8.20.0, 9.25.0 or 10.12.0, which fix the issue. 11 h ago
