| CVE-2026-48055 | 10.0 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download any video media. In versions 2.4.0 and prior, a high-severity Zip Slip vulnerability was identified in Streambert's subtitle extraction logic. The application does not sanitize archive entry filenames during extraction, allowing a malicious archive to perform path traversal and write arbitrary files to the host filesystem. The subtitle extraction process downloads a ZIP archive and extracts its entries. The destination file path is constructed by concatenating the raw archive entry name (extracted.name) directly to the temporary directory path. If a malicious ZIP archive containing directory traversal sequences is processed, it escapes the temporary directory boundaries. The application then writes the extracted payload anywhere on the host filesystem subject to the application's current write permissions. This issue has been fixed in version 2.5.0. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48056 | 10.0 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Versions prior to 2.5.0 improperly validate executable paths supplied to the run-download IPC handler, allowing a compromised renderer process to execute arbitrary local binaries with the application’s privileges. Version 2.5.0 contains a patch. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-50551 | 9.9 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, SiYuan contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Attribute View (database) asset cell renderer that escalates to remote code execution (RCE) in the Electron desktop client. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33976 | 9.6 critical | 1.0% | streetwriters, notesnook_desktop, notesnook_mobile | Notesnook is a note-taking app. Prior to version 3.3.11 on Web/Desktop and 3.3.17 on Android/iOS, a stored XSS in the Web Clipper rendering flow can be escalated to remote code execution in the desktop app. The root cause is that the clipper preserves attacker-controlled attributes from the source page’s root element and stores them inside web-clip HTML. When the clip is later opened, Notesnook renders that HTML into a same-origin, unsandboxed iframe using `contentDocument.write(...)`. Event-handler attributes such as `onload`, `onclick`, or `onmouseover` execute in the Notesnook origin. In the desktop app, this becomes RCE because Electron is configured with `nodeIntegration: true` and `contextIsolation: false`. Version 3.3.11 Web/Desktop and 3.3.17 on Android/iOS patch the issue. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2025-65026 | 9.6 critical | 1.0% | esm, esm.sh | esm.sh is a nobuild content delivery network(CDN) for modern web development. Prior to version 136, The esm.sh CDN service contains a Template Literal Injection vulnerability (CWE-94) in its CSS-to-JavaScript module conversion feature. When a CSS file is requested with the ?module query parameter, esm.sh converts it to a JavaScript module by embedding the CSS content directly into a template literal without proper sanitization. An attacker can inject malicious JavaScript code using ${...} expressions within CSS files, which will execute when the module is imported by victim applications. This enables Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in browsers and Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Electron applications. This issue has been patched in version 136. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2025-66222 | 9.6 critical | 1.0% | thinkinai, deepchat | DeepChat is a smart assistant uses artificial intelligence. In 0.5.0 and earlier, there is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Mermaid diagram renderer allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript within the application context. By leveraging the exposed Electron IPC bridge, this XSS can be escalated to Remote Code Execution (RCE) by registering and starting a malicious MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. | 18 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66395 | 9.4 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan desktop before v3.7.2 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the bazaar plugin readme handler that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by crafting a malicious siyuan:// deep link. Attackers can inject HTML payloads via the plugin name parameter that execute with full Node.js access through insertAdjacentHTML rendering in an insecurely configured Electron renderer. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-66396 | 9.3 critical | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.7.2 fails to escape the title-img Individual Attribute List value when rendering Gallery and Kanban cover images, allowing stored cross-site scripting via unescaped style attribute interpolation. Attackers with editor permissions can inject onload handlers that execute arbitrary code in the Electron renderer with full Node.js access when victims open affected documents. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-40501 | 8.6 high | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Cherry Studio versions 1.2.2 through 1.9.12, fixed in commit 1518530, contain a remote code execution vulnerability in SearchService that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by delivering malicious JavaScript through controlled search provider content loaded into an Electron BrowserWindow configured with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled. Attackers who control a search engine provider, individual search result pages, or provider settings pages can execute JavaScript with full Node.js privileges, gaining access to fs, child_process, os, and process.env under the operating-system account of the Cherry Studio process. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-61891 | 7.5 high | 1.0% | eclipse, theia | In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.73.1, the `@theia/filesystem` backend exposes HTTP file-download endpoints (`GET /file`, `GET /files/`, `PUT /files/`) that convert a client-supplied URI directly to a filesystem path and stream the file, without confining it to the workspace or any allow-listed root. In browser (non-Electron) deployments the connection token is enforced only on WebSocket upgrades; the HTTP middleware in `@theia/core` re-issues the cookie and calls `next()` without rejecting tokenless HTTP requests, so these endpoints are reachable without a valid token. As a result an unauthenticated client can read any file readable by the backend process, including files outside the opened workspace (for example `/etc/hosts`, SSH keys, or tokens). Electron mode uses a separate `ElectronSecurityToken` and is not affected via this path. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70609 | 5.7 medium | 1.0% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1, the mode option of webContents.openDevTools() was not sanitized before use by the DevTools frontend. If an attacker can influence this value, script under their control may run in the DevTools context, which in unsandboxed configurations has access to Node.js, including when untrusted input reaches the mode argument of openDevTools() or untrusted content calls openDevTools() on a webview it embeds. This issue is fixed in 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70610 | 5.4 medium | 1.0% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4, objects copied across the contextBridge boundary from untrusted content could carry an attacker-influenced prototype, enabling prototype-pollution-style attacks against preload code despite context isolation being enabled. Apps are only affected if their preload code accepts object arguments from untrusted content and reads properties from them without own-property checks, while apps that only accept primitive arguments or validate object arguments are not affected. This issue is fixed in 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.4. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-100634 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.8.4 does not validate the sender or restrict recipients in the 'siyuan-send-windows' IPC handler of the Electron main process (app/electron/main.js). The handler ignores event.sender and forwards any received payload to every BrowserWindow returned by BrowserWindow.getAllWindows(), including windows belonging to other opened workspaces. A renderer connected to an attacker-controlled remote kernel can therefore send {cmd: "lockscreenByMode"} and have it delivered across the workspace boundary; a sibling workspace window whose lockScreenMode is set to 1 invokes lockScreen(). Repeated messages allow the remote workspace to repeatedly lock unrelated local workspace windows, causing a limited denial of service. No confidentiality, integrity, or code-execution impact was observed. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70607 | 5.3 medium | 1.0% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3, some window options supplied by web content in the window.open() features string were applied to the new BrowserWindow without an allowlist. Untrusted content could set window options it should not control, including options that cause the main process to access attacker-chosen file or network paths, when untrusted content can call window.open() and the app does not override child window options via setWindowOpenHandler or overrideBrowserWindowOptions. This issue is fixed in 39.8.8, 40.9.0, 41.2.1, and 42.0.0-beta.3. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-113797 | 3.1 low | 1.0% | no CPE yet | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4, chrome.tabs.query() returned each tab's url and title to extensions that had neither the tabs permission nor matching host permissions. An application that loaded an extension it did not fully trust through session.extensions.loadExtension could therefore allow that extension to read the URL and title of every webContents in its session. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.1, 43.5.1, 44.1.1, and 45.0.0-alpha.4. | 21 h ago |
| CVE-2026-54067 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, CSS snippet body containing </style> breaks out of its surrounding <style> tag when renderSnippet() interpolates it via insertAdjacentHTML. A payload like runs arbitrary JavaScript in the renderer. On Electron desktop builds the renderer runs with nodeIntegration:true, so require('child_process') is reachable from the injected handler and the XSS chains to host RCE. Snippets sync via the workspace repository, so an attacker with write access to any synced workspace plants the payload once and it fires on every device that pulls. The bug also bypasses the user's enabledCSS / enabledJS separation. A user who turned enabledJS off was making a deliberate call not to run untrusted JavaScript; the CSS path runs it anyway. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54158 | 9.9 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, the attribute-view (database) cell renderer genAVValueHTML interpolates cell content raw in four of its branches: text, url, phone, and mAsset. A cell value like </textarea><img src=x onerror="..."> or "><img src=x onerror="..."> breaks out of its surrounding tag and runs arbitrary JavaScript in the renderer when the victim opens the block-attribute panel. On Electron desktop the renderer runs with nodeIntegration:true, so the XSS chains to host RCE via require('child_process'). AV files live under the workspace and ride normal sync, so an attacker with write access to any synced workspace plants the payload once and it fires on every device that opens a panel containing that row.he kernel doesn't escape on the way in either, so the malicious cell persists byte-for-byte. There's no equivalent of the html.EscapeAttrVal call that protects block IAL attributes at kernel/model/blockial.go:261. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102676 | 9.8 critical | 0.00% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, an Electron <webview> guest could enable nodeIntegrationInWorker for its Web Workers even when the unsandboxed embedder had Node.js integration disabled, allowing untrusted guest content to create a Node-enabled worker with more privilege than the embedder granted. Applications that do not enable the <webview> tag or that keep the embedder sandboxed are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. | 15 Oct |
| CVE-2026-42090 | 9.6 critical | 0.00% | streetwriters, notesnook_desktop, notesnook_mobile | Notesnook is a note-taking app focused on user privacy & ease of use. Prior to Notesnook Web/Desktop version 3.3.15 and prior to Notesnook iOS/Android version 3.3.20, a stored XSS vulnerability in the note export flow can be escalated to remote code execution in the desktop app. The root cause is that exported note fields such as title, headline, and content are inserted into the generated HTML template without HTML escaping. When the note is later exported to PDF, Notesnook renders that HTML into a same-origin, unsandboxed iframe using iframe.srcdoc = .... Injected script executes in the Notesnook origin. In the desktop app, this becomes RCE because Electron is configured with nodeIntegration: true and contextIsolation: false. This issue has been patched in Notesnook Web/Desktop version 3.3.15 and Notesnook iOS/Android version 3.3.20. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-43899 | 9.6 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | DeepChat is an open-source artificial intelligence agent platform that unifies models, tools, and agents. Prior to v1.0.4-beta.1, An incomplete mitigation for CVE-2025-55733 leaves DeepChat vulnerable to an arbitrary protocol execution bypass (RCE). While the patch correctly restricted api.openExternal() inside the renderer's preload/index.ts script, it structurally neglected to sanitize native Electron pop-up window handlers. An attacker or a compromised AI endpoint returning a Markdown link can trigger a target="_blank" native window interception in tabPresenter.ts, which forwards the malicious URL directly to shell.openExternal(url) and completely bypasses the isValidExternalUrl security boundary. This vulnerability is fixed in v1.0.4-beta.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-44482 | 9.6 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | soundcloud-rpc is a SoundCloud Client with Discord Rich Presence, Dark Mode, Last.fm and AdBlock support. Prior to 0.1.8, a track title containing an HTML payload executed locally in the Electron app. This means attacker-controlled SoundCloud track metadata can lead to local command execution on the user's machine. The application exposes a preload API (window.soundcloudAPI.sendTrackUpdate) to the remote SoundCloud page. Track metadata from SoundCloud is trusted and forwarded through IPC into the Electron main process. The app later renders that metadata as raw HTML inside privileged Electron views that have Node.js integration enabled. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.8. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-56397 | 9.4 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.6.1 fails to sanitize package metadata and README content in the Bazaar marketplace, allowing malicious package authors to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript. Attackers can achieve remote code execution on any user browsing the Bazaar by embedding XSS payloads in package displayName, description, or README fields, exploiting Electron's nodeIntegration setting to execute OS commands. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48046 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Versions prior to 2.5.0 contain an unvalidated auto-updater URL vulnerability that allows a compromised renderer process to make the main process download and execute an arbitrary binary, resulting in remote code execution. Version 2.5.0 contains a patch. | Fri 23 Oct |
| CVE-2026-48996 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | triliumnotes, trilium | Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter does not sanitize note titles, and the GeoMap note view interpolates a marker note's title into raw HTML that is rendered as innerHTML, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to inject script that runs when the map is displayed. Because Safe import neutralizes scripts but never escapes titles, a note whose title contains an HTML event-handler payload survives the import and executes as soon as the victim opens the GeoMap that renders its marker. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53578 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | triliumnotes, trilium | Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter sanitizes HTML only for text notes and excludes the mindMap note type, whose JSON content is stored without sanitization, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to embed a payload that renders as arbitrary HTML. A mind map node can carry a dangerouslySetInnerHTML property that the Mind Elixir library assigns directly to a node's innerHTML, so a malicious note survives Safe import and executes script as soon as the victim opens the imported mind map. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-53579 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | triliumnotes, trilium | Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions up to and including 0.103.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter sanitizes HTML only for text notes and excludes the book note type, whose content is stored without sanitization and later rendered as HTML, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to embed a payload that executes as script. A book note's content is routed through the same rendering path as text notes and injected into the page with jQuery's html method when the note is shown as a grid-view preview card, so a malicious note survives Safe import and runs as soon as the victim opens the containing note. On the desktop client the Electron renderer runs with Node integration enabled, so the injected JavaScript escalates from cross-site scripting to full remote code execution on the victim's machine. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0. | 14 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75917 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan before v3.7.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the file-tree picker's hover-tooltip generation (app/src/util/pathName.ts, getLeaf()/movePathTo()) used by the 'move/link to' path-selection dialogs, where document metadata fields (bookmark, alias, memo, and an alternate name field) are concatenated into the aria-label HTML attribute without escaping. A document crafted with a double quote in any of these fields breaks out of the attribute context and injects arbitrary HTML attributes including inline event handlers (e.g., onmouseover). Because every SiYuan Electron BrowserWindow runs with nodeIntegration:true, contextIsolation:false, and no CSP, the injected handler gains require('child_process') access, escalating the XSS to arbitrary OS command execution when a victim merely hovers over the malicious document entry in the path-picker dialog. Malicious documents reach victims via sharing, sync, or import. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-75916 | 9.3 critical | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan through 3.7.3 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the '((' block-reference autocomplete hint popup. In genHintItemHTML() (app/src/protyle/hint/extend.ts), a candidate block's name, alias, and memo fields are concatenated into the popup's HTML without escaping. An attacker who can set these metadata fields on a block can inject a self-firing payload (e.g. <img src=x onerror=...>) that executes automatically when a victim types '((' followed by a search term that surfaces the crafted block. Because SiYuan's Electron windows run with nodeIntegration enabled, contextIsolation disabled, and no CSP, the injected script gains require('child_process') access, allowing the XSS to escalate to arbitrary OS command execution. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-60009 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | eclipse, theia | In Eclipse Theia versions up to and including 1.73.1, the `@theia/filesystem` backend binds `POST /file-upload` in every filesystem-enabled deployment. The handler takes an attacker-supplied absolute path from the multipart `uri` field and calls `fs.move(tmp, target, { overwrite: true })` with no workspace confinement and no authentication. In browser (non-Electron) deployments the connection token is enforced only on WebSocket upgrades; the HTTP middleware in `@theia/core` re-issues the cookie and calls `next()` without rejecting tokenless HTTP requests. Because `multipart/form-data` is a CORS-safelisted request type, a cross-origin web page can trigger the write with no preflight and no credentials, resulting in an unauthenticated arbitrary file write outside the workspace to any absolute path the backend process can write. This can escalate to remote code execution, for example by overwriting a startup-executed file such as `~/.bashrc`. Electron mode uses a separate `ElectronSecurityToken` and is not affected via this path. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52872 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to 2.5.0, the downloadSubtitleFile utility in src/ipc/downloads.js, reached through the run-download IPC channel, accepts a renderer-supplied subtitle url using the file: URI scheme and passes its decoded pathname to fs.copyFileSync. The renderer also controls downloadPath, which determines the destination path. A compromised renderer can therefore copy any file readable by the StreamBERT process into an attacker-chosen writable location, exposing sensitive local data, and can overwrite existing writable files. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.5.0. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52876 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-path-at-time IPC handler in src/ipc/player.js accepts a renderer-controlled filePath without validating its type or location. If the mpv or VLC launch attempts are skipped or fail, the handler passes filePath to Electron's shell.openPath. A compromised renderer can provide the path of a local executable, script, shortcut, or other file with an executing default handler, causing the operating system to launch it with the privileges of the StreamBERT process and enabling escape from the renderer sandbox. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102677 | 8.8 high | 0.00% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From 42.3.3 until 42.10.0, 43.5.0, and 44.0.0-beta.6, Electron's sandboxed preload code cache did not verify that a cached entry matched the preload it was served for. A compromised renderer could write attacker-controlled cache data and cause Electron to reuse it for a later load, executing the renderer's code in the more privileged preload context. The issue affects applications that load untrusted content. This issue is fixed in versions 42.10.0, 43.5.0, and 44.0.0-beta.6. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-54759 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, Lute's HTML sanitizer does not remove <iframe> elements. Combined with the SiYuan Electron client's permissive security configuration, an attacker can include a malicious <iframe> in a Bazaar package README that executes arbitrary commands on the victim's machine when the package details are viewed. No package installation is required. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-106104 | 8.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to 2.23.3, Platform.parseSSR() passed an unbounded User-Agent request header to getMatch() in ui/src/plugins/platform/Platform.js, whose browser-detection expressions combined greedy captures with repeated unbounded scans. Platform belongs to autoInstalledPlugins, so this parsing occurs before routing for every SSR request. A crafted unauthenticated request containing repeated version tokens without a terminating Safari token causes super-linear backtracking and blocks the Node.js event loop, delaying every other SSR request. SPA, PWA, Electron, Cordova, Capacitor, browser-extension, and static-site-generation targets are not affected because they do not parse an attacker-controlled request header through this path. This issue is fixed in version 2.23.3. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-33955 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | streetwriters, notesnook_desktop | Notesnook is a note-taking app. Prior to version 3.3.11 on Web/Desktop, a cross-site scripting vulnerability stored in the note history comparison viewer can escalate to remote code execution in a desktop application. The issue is triggered when an attacker-controlled note header is displayed using `dangerouslySetInnerHTML` without secure handling. When combined with the full backup and restore feature in the desktop application, this becomes remote code execution because Electron is configured with `nodeIntegration: true` and `contextIsolation: false`. Version 3.3.11 patches the issue. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59833 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.1, SiYuan renders note and package content to HTML through the Lute engine with sanitization enabled, but Lute's dangerous javascript scheme block does not check form action or SVG xlink:href attributes, allowing stored cross-site scripting in document export-preview and Bazaar package README render paths that can execute OS commands in the Electron desktop renderer. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.1. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-59855 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.1, Asset.render in app/src/asset/index.ts interpolates the unsanitized this.path value into HTML assigned to innerHTML, allowing a crafted asset link containing a double quote to break out of the src attribute, inject an event handler, and execute JavaScript that can run OS commands in the Electron renderer. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.1-alpha.2 and 3.7.1. | Sun 25 Oct |
| CVE-2026-100645 | 8.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | SiYuan versions 3.7.0 before 3.8.4 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in gallery and kanban database renderers where field descriptions are not escaped in aria-label attributes. In the Electron desktop app with nodeIntegration enabled, attackers can inject JavaScript that calls Node.js child_process APIs to execute arbitrary commands with user privileges. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52875 | 8.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to 2.6.0, the perform-scheduled-backup IPC handler in src/ipc/storage.js takes settings.path from a renderer-supplied object and uses the resulting directory for fs.mkdirSync, fs.writeFileSync, fs.readdirSync, and fs.unlinkSync operations without checking that it is inside an authorized backup location. A compromised renderer can choose an absolute path or a relative traversal path to create directories and write a streambert-backup-[timestamp].json file containing renderer-controlled data. The pruning loop can also delete files in that directory whose names begin with streambert-backup- and end with .json. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.0. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45733 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Trilium Notes is a cross-platform, hierarchical note taking application focused on building large personal knowledge bases. Prior to 0.103.0, the #iconClass label value is returned raw by getNoteIcon() and inserted without HTML attribute encoding into class attributes in apps/client/src/widgets/quick_search.ts and apps/client/src/services/note_autocomplete.ts, allowing a stored payload to execute automatically when a victim opens a new tab or uses Ctrl+J and, because Electron enables nodeIntegration and disables contextIsolation, run operating-system commands as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 0.103.0. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-52877 | 8.3 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to version 2.6.0, the open-external IPC handler in src/ipc/downloads.js passes a renderer-supplied url directly to Electron's shell.openExternal without validating its protocol. A compromised renderer can submit file: URIs or operating-system-specific custom schemes, causing the host to open local files, access remote resources through registered handlers, or launch scripts and applications supported by those handlers. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.0. | Thu 22 Oct |
| CVE-2026-72903 | 8.1 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Tabby (formerly Terminus) is a highly configurable terminal emulator. Prior to 1.0.235, a malicious SFTP server can return a backslash traversal filename through entry.name. In tabby-ssh/src/session/sftp.ts, SFTPSession.readdir() and _makeFile() use POSIX path processing that preserves the backslashes as ordinary filename characters. In tabby-ssh/src/components/sftpPanel.component.ts, downloadFolderRecursive() propagates item.name into the local relative path. In tabby-electron/src/services/platform.service.ts, ElectronDirectoryDownload.createFile() passes that path to Windows-native path.join(), and in tabby-electron/src/sftpContextMenu.ts, EditSFTPContextMenu.edit() passes item.name to path.join() for the temporary edit path. Windows interprets the preserved backslashes and parent-directory components as traversal, allowing attacker-controlled content to be created or overwritten outside the selected download directory or temporary edit directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.235. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2026-45745 | 8.0 high | 0.00% | termix | Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Starting in version 1.7.0, Termix Desktop (Electron) disables TLS certificate validation, allowing a machine-in-the-middle attacker to intercept and modify HTTPS traffic to the configured Termix server. This can lead to credential theft and JWT/session theft during login and normal use. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-46709 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | tabby | Tabby (formerly Terminus) is a highly configurable terminal emulator. Prior to 1.0.234, Tabby inserts dropped file paths from tabby-electron/src/pathDrop.ts into the active shell without neutralizing command substitution metacharacters such as $(…) and `…`, so the incomplete CVE-2026-45038 fix for control characters still allows code execution when the victim presses Enter. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.234. | Sat 24 Oct |
| CVE-2025-14498 | 7.8 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | TradingView Desktop Electron Uncontrolled Search Path Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of TradingView Desktop. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the configuration of the Electron framework. The product loads a script file from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of a target user. Was ZDI-CAN-27395. | 19 Oct |
| CVE-2026-108160 | 7.7 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | AstronRPA through 1.1.6 contains a download of code without integrity check vulnerability that allows network attackers to deliver malicious updates by abusing the desktop client's auto-update mechanism. Attackers positioned between the client and server can serve a malicious update manifest and NSIS installer, which electron-updater installs without signature verification, executing code as the desktop user. | 9 Oct |
| CVE-2026-115929 | 7.6 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | MongoDB Compass relies on Electron, a third-party runtime that carries its own TLS root certificate store. This root certificate store has the recoverable eMudhra intermediate CA certificates. Issue is resolved by updating to Compass 1.53.1, which includes Electron 44.9.1. | Mon 26 Oct |
| CVE-2026-70601 | 7.5 high | 0.00% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.5, apps that expose Promise-returning functions to web content via contextBridge may be vulnerable to a context isolation bypass. Untrusted web content could obtain access to the isolated preload world and, through it, every capability the preload script has. In renderers without a sandbox, or with nodeIntegration enabled, this may escalate to Node.js access. Apps are affected if they expose Promise-returning functions via contextBridge, the standard pattern for wrapping ipcRenderer.invoke, in windows that load untrusted content. This issue is fixed in versions 39.8.9, 40.9.2, 41.2.2, and 42.0.0-beta.5. | 8 Oct |
| CVE-2026-102675 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | electronjs, electron | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, responses served through protocol.registerFileProtocol or protocol.registerHttpProtocol for a custom scheme registered with supportFetchAPI enabled but corsEnabled disabled could remain script-readable across origins. This residual issue completes the remediation for CVE-2026-70604. Applications are affected only when they expose such a scheme and load untrusted content in the same session. Schemes intentionally registered with corsEnabled enabled remain cross-origin readable by design. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. | Tue 27 Oct |
| CVE-2026-115570 | 7.4 high | 0.00% | no CPE yet | Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6, Electron does not block compromised eMudhra intermediate certificates in Chromium networking, Node.js tls, Node.js https, or Node.js fetch. An attacker who holds a certificate issued through one of these intermediates and can intercept network traffic can impersonate a TLS server to an affected application. This issue is fixed in versions 42.11.16, 43.8.1, 44.9.1, and 45.0.0-beta.6. | Fri 23 Oct |
